9 . A ring ( 1 ) of variable configuration comprising an annular body ( 2 ) having an axis and presenting in a central plane a slot ( 3 ) in which an engagement element ( 5 ) can be housed to form, in cooperation with the annular body ( 2 ), a seat for an ornamental element ( 10 ) to be fitted to the annular body ( 2 ), wherein the annular body comprises at least one recess ( 12 ) to be associated with a corresponding loop ( 11 ) of the retaining element to form at least one seat open in the direction of the axis of the annular body, suitable for receiving and retaining the ornamental element ( 10 ) which is inserted through an end ( 8 ) of said engagement element ( 5 ).
10 . A ring according to claim 9 , wherein the retaining element is of annular configuration and has an extension of more than 180°.
11 . A ring according to claim 9 , wherein the retaining element is hinged at one end in the central slot of the annular body, and presents a free end through which the ornamental element can be inserted.
12 . A ring ( 1 ) as claimed in claim 11 , wherein said annular body ( 2 ) consists of a pair of coaxial annular elements ( 2 a , 2 b ) having the same shape, and means for hinging the engagement element ( 5 ) to the annular body ( 2 ) consists of a pin ( 7 ) retaining the two annular elements ( 2 a , 2 b ) of the annular body ( 2 ) in a fixed coaxial position.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
