Abstract
An oxidative dye composition comprising one or more oxidative dyes, at least one glyceryl ester, and at least one surfactant, a method for coloring hair, and a method for coloring First Grays and hair that has been chemically processed with a mild, easy to use, hair color.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An oxidative dye composition comprising one or more oxidative dyes, at least one glyceryl ester, and at least one surfactant.
. The composition of claim 1 wherein the oxidative dye comprises at least one primary intermediate and at least one coupler for the formation of oxidation dyes.
. The composition of claim 1 wherein the at least one glyceryl ester comprises a fatty acid mono-, di-, or triglyceride.
. The composition of claim 1 wherein the at least one glyceryl ester comprises the reaction product of glycerin and one or more fatty acids.
. The composition of claim 1 wherein the at least one glyceryl ester comprises lecithin.
. The composition of claim 1 having association structures.
. The composition of claim 6 wherein the association structures are liquid crystals.
. The composition of claim 1 which is in the water and oil emulsion form.
. The composition of claim 1 which is in the solution form.
. A method for reducing the amount of time required to oxidatively color hair with a mixture of an oxidizing agent composition and an aqueous based oxidative dye composition, comprising including in said mixture at least one glyceryl ester and one or more surfactants.
. The method of claim 10 wherein the hair is colored in about two to four minutes.
. The method of claim 10 which provides Level 2 hair color.
. A method for providing color to the hair in about two to four minutes or less comprising treating the hair with a mixture of an oxidizing agent composition and an aqueous based oxidative dye composition wherein the aqueous based oxidative dye composition contains at least one glyceryl ester and one or more surfactants.
. A method for treating First Grays comprising applying to the hair a mixture of an oxidizing agent composition and an aqueous based oxidative dye composition wherein the mixture contains at least one glyceryl ester and one or more surfactants.
. The method of claim 14 wherein the oxidizing agent composition comprises hydrogen peroxide.
. The method of claim 14 wherein the oxidizing agent composition is in the emulsion form.
. The method of claim 14 wherein the aqueous based oxidative dye is in the emulsion form.
. A method for revitalizing the color of hair colored with Level 3 hair color comprising applying to the hair a Level 2 hair color comprised of a mixture of an oxidizing agent composition and an aqueous based oxidative dye composition wherein the mixture contains at least one glyceryl ester and at least one surfactant.
. The method of claim 18 wherein the oxidizing agent comprises hydrogen peroxide and the aqueous based oxidative dye composition is in the emulsion form.
. A method for revitalizing the color of hair colored with Level 3 hair color comprising applying to the hair a Level 2 hair color comprised of a mixture of an oxidizing agent composition and an aqueous based oxidative dye composition wherein the mixture contains at least one glyceryl ester and at least one surfactant, rinsing the composition from the hair, applying the same composition to the hair again for about two minutes, then rinsing from the hair with water.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
