Information record medium and apparatus for reproducing the same

Abstract

An information record medium ( 1 ) is provided with: an audio information recording area on which a plurality of audio information ( 210 ) which are different in recording method are recorded; and a control information recording area on which control information ( 211 ) required to reproduce the plurality of audio information recorded on the audio information recording area is recorded. The control information recorded on the control information recording area includes identification information indicating that the plurality of audio information are same in content and different in recording method with each other. The control information may include a plurality of first division information for identifying first division units ( 260 ) respectively so as to divide each of the plurality of audio information recorded on the audio information recording area by the first division units respectively. The first division information, which indicates that the audio information divided by the first division units belongs to a same first division unit, may be provided as the identification information for each of the plurality of audio information same in content and different in recording method.

       17 . An information record medium comprising: 
 physical audio information including a plurality of audio information which are different in recording method and composed of a plurality of cells; and    reproduction control information which reproduces a logical program composed of said plurality of cells,    wherein one piece of at least one or more of said cells which composes said audio information recorded by one of said recording method, another piece of at least one or more of said cells which composes said audio information recorded by another one of said recording method, and said program is determined by both said one piece and said another piece, and    wherein said one piece and said another piece are recorded in different positions on said information record medium, and said audio information of said one piece and said audio information of said another piece are same in content.    
   
   
       18 . An information record medium according to  claim 17 , wherein said reproduction control information includes identification information which indicates that said program is composed of said plurality of audio information that is different in recording method.  
   
   
       19 . An information record medium according to  claim 17 , wherein said reproduction control information is defined by each cell and includes any one of cell type, start-address, or end-address.  
   
   
       20 . An information record medium according to  claim 17 , wherein said audio information is recorded by said one recording method which is PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) recording method.  
   
   
       21 . An information reproduction apparatus which reproduces an information record medium comprising: physical audio information including a plurality of audio information which are different in recording method and composed of a plurality of cells; and reproduction control information which reproduces a logical program composed of said plurality of cells, 
 wherein one piece of at least one or more of said cells which composes said audio information recorded by one of said recording method, another piece of at least one or more of said cells which composes said audio information recorded by another one of said recording method, and said program is determined by both said one piece and said another piece, and wherein said one piece and said another piece are recorded in different positions on said information record medium, and said audio information of said one piece and said audio information of said another piece are same in content, said information reproduction apparatus comprising:    a reading device which reads information;    a reproduction device which reproduces said audio information; and    a control device which controls said reproduction device on the basis of said reproduction control information and predetermined recording method to reproduce said audio information.    
   
   
       22 . An information reproduction apparatus according to  claim 21 , wherein said reproduction control information includes identification information which indicates that said program is composed of said plurality of audio information that is different in recording method.  
   
   
       23 . An information reproduction apparatus according to  claim 21 , wherein said reproduction control information is defined by each cell and includes any one of cell type, start-address, or end-address.  
   
   
       24 . An information reproduction apparatus according to  claim 21 , wherein said audio information is recorded by said one recording method which is PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) recording method.  
   
   
       25 . An information reproduction method by which reproduces an information record medium comprising: physical audio information including a plurality of audio information which are different in recording method and composed of a plurality of cells; and reproduction control information which reproduces a logical program composed of said plurality of cells, wherein one piece of at least one or more of said cells which composes said audio information recorded by one of said recording method, another piece of at least one or more of said cells which composes said audio information recorded by another one of said recording method, and said program is determined by both said one piece and said another piece, and wherein said one piece and said another piece are recorded in different positions on said information record medium, and said audio information of said one piece and said audio information of said another piece are same in content, said information reproduction method comprising: 
 a reading step of reading information;    a reproduction step of reproducing said audio information; and    a control step of controlling said reproduction device on the basis of said reproduction control information and predetermined recording method to reproduce said audio information.    
   
   
       26 . An information reproduction method according to  claim 25 , 
 wherein said reproduction control information includes identification information which indicates that said program is composed of said plurality of audio information that is different in recording method.

 wherein said reproduction control information is defined by each cell and includes any one of cell type, start-address, or end-address.    
   
   
       28 . An information reproduction apparatus according to  claim 25 , 
 wherein said audio information is recorded by said one recording method which is PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) recording method.
