Abstract

A tray for supporting a single firelog during combustion is disclosed. The tray consists of a curved imperforate metal base capable of receiving and collecting ashes from a burning firelog. Three parallel rows of metal pegs support the burning firelog above the metal base and allow for enhanced airflow to the burning material. The front and back edges of the base are bent to form handles, which permit the tray to be easily carried to a trash receptacle for convenient disposal of the ashes.
