Abstract
The present invention concerns a cocking plate for holding the base of an article. The cocking plate comprises: a plate having at least one slot and at least one clamping means and a receiving cup having means for attaching to the at least one recess of the plate. The cocking plate is adapted to be used in conjunction with a belt.

a plate having a front side, a back side, at least one slot and at least one clamping means; and a receiving cup connected to the front side of the plate, wherein the receiving cup includes connecting means to connect the cup to the at least one recess of the plate.
2 . A cocking plate according to claim 1 , wherein the plate has a curvature to conform to the human body.
3 . A cocking plate according to claim 1 , wherein the plate has a pear shape.
4 . A cocking plate according to claim 1 , wherein the plate measures between 8-16 inches in height, 3.5-7 inches in width on the top, and 6-10 inches in width on the bottom.
5 . A cocking plate according to claim 1 , wherein the cup angles away from the plate by approximately a 30 to 45 degree angle.
6 . A cocking plate according to claim 1 , wherein the plate further includes at least one stopper located at least in one of upper ends or sides of each slot.
7 . A cocking plate according to claim 1 , wherein the cup further comprises a locking device to lock the end of the article.
8 . A cocking plate according to claim 1 , wherein the lower end of the plate includes a flair-up design.
9 . A cocking plate according to claim 1 , wherein the plate is made of injection plastic.
10 . A cocking plate according to claim 1 , wherein the plate has rounded lower corners and edges to accommodate an user.
11 . A cocking plate according to claim 1 , wherein the receiving cup comprises an anti-skip insert.
12 . A cocking plate according to claim 1 , wherein the cocking plate is adapted to be used in conjunction with a belt.
13 . A cocking plate for holding the base of an article, the cocking plate comprising:
a plate having a front side, a back side, at least one slot and at least one clamping means; and a receiving cup connected to the front side of the plate, wherein the receiving cup includes connecting means to connect the cup to the at least one recess of the plate; a locking plate located to the back of the plate, wherein the locking plate includes locking tabs, wherein the locking tabs are inserted into a gap on the at least one slot left behind by the connecting means, wherein the locking plate locks the connecting means in place.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
