Abstract
A post for a security fence and comprises a thin sheet of steel which has been cold-formed to be of generally I section and is then galvanised.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 15 . (canceled)
. A post for a security fence, the post comprising a cold-rolled metal section of generally I-cross sectional form, formed from a single sheet of metal having two longitudinal edges, the metal section having a main web and two integral side flanges, the metal sheet being cold-roll formed to cause surfaces at or towards the two longitudinal edges of the single sheet to overlie one another.
. A post according to claim 16 , wherein said post is galvanised or powder coated.
. A post according to claim 16 , wherein the metal sheet which forms said post has a thickness of about 2 mm to about 4 mm.
. A post according to claim 16 , comprising a security head having a shape selected from the group of a single point or multiple point shape and spear or flat form.
. A post for a security fence, the post comprising a cold-rolled metal section of I-cross sectional form formed from a single sheet of metal and having a main web and two integral side flanges, the side flanges being generally parallel to one another at substantial right angles to the main web.
. A post according to claim 20 , wherein said post is galvanised or powder coated.
. A post according to claim 20 , wherein the metal sheet which forms said post has a thickness of about 2 mm to about 4 mm.
. A post according to claim 20 , comprising a security head having a shape selected from the group of a single point or multiple point shape and spear or flat form.
. A security fence comprising two posts and at least one rail extending between the posts and a plurality of pales connected to the rail, at least one of the posts comprising a cold-rolled metal section of generally I-cross sectional form, formed from a single sheet of metal, having a main web and two integral side flanges, the metal sheet being cold-roll formed to cause two edges of the single sheet to overlie one another.
. A security fence according to claim 24 , wherein the main web of said at least one post has at least one hole for connection to the or each at least one rail.
. A security fence according to claim 24 , wherein said at least one post has a total width of about 100 mm to about 120 mm and the side flanges are about 30 mm to about 50 mm wide in total.
. A security fence according to claim 24 , wherein the pales are formed of cold rolled metal section.
. A security fence comprising two posts and at least one rail extending between the posts and a plurality of pales connected to the rail, at least one of the posts comprising a cold-rolled metal section of I-cross sectional form formed from a single sheet of metal and having a main web and two integral side flanges, the side flanges being generally parallel to one another and at substantial right angles to the main web.
. A security fence according to claim 28 , wherein the main web of said at least one post has at least one hole for connection to the or each at least one rail.
. A security fence according to claim 28 , wherein said at least one post has a total width of about 100 mm to about 120 mm and the side flanges are about 30 mm to about 50 mm wide in total.
. A security fence according to claim 28 , wherein the pales are formed of cold rolled metal section.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
