Abstract
A mechanical loom comprising a warp beam ( 1 ) for pulling a warp thread ( 3 ) or a set of warp threads. The warp thread ( 3 ) is pulled out of a thread storage element. This enables homogenizing the warp thread tension. To this end, the warp thread ( 3 ) is guided, after the thread storage element, by means of a deflection roll ( 4 ) which is embodied as a measuring roll, the measuring roll detecting the prevailing thread tension and influencing the warp beam drive ( 2 ) according to the thread tension.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 8 . (canceled)
9 . Mechanical loom comprising a warp beam ( 1 ) for moving a warp thread ( 3 ) or a warp thread group with a drawing action, the warp thread ( 3 ) being drawn from a thread store, the loom further comprising a deflecting roller ( 4 ) wherein the warp thread ( 3 ) is guided, downstream of the thread store, via the deflecting roller ( 4 ), which is formed as a measuring roller, the measuring roller detecting thread tension and directing the warp beam drive ( 2 ) in dependence of the thread tension.
10 . Mechanical loom according to claim 9 wherein the deflecting roller ( 4 ) is equipped with a force measurement bearing which delivers a signal (S) corresponding to the measured force.
11 . Mechanical loom according to claim 10 , further comprising a control unit ( 6 ), which processes the signal (S) delivered by the deflecting roller ( 4 ) or the force measurement bearing and converts it into control pulses (I) for the warp beam drive ( 2 ).
12 . Mechanical loom according to claim 11 , wherein a desired thread tension can be set at the control unit ( 6 ).
13 . Mechanical loom according to claim 9 , wherein the deflecting roller ( 4 ) is preceded and/or followed by a guide roller ( 5 ) on a draw-in side and/or a draw-off side.
14 . Mechanical loom according to claim 9 , futher comprising a length compensation device ( 7 ) located downstream of the deflecting roller ( 4 ).
15 . Mechanical loom according to claim 14 , whrein the length compensation device ( 7 ) comprises a jockey device ( 8 ).
16 . Mechanical loom according to claim 14 , wherein the length compensation device ( 7 ) comprises a spring compensation roller ( 9 ).Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
