Combination floor & ergonomic hand held cleaning tools

Abstract

Defined broadly, the present invention is a cleaning device platform. e.g. Scrub brush, wall washer car washer and abrasive pad holder that can be ergonomically held by hand and also easily attached to a quick disconnect attachment that is embodied to a handle allowing a full 360 degree swivel movement for floor, wall or car cleaning applications.

1 . A cleaning device platform, comprising: 
 a. Upward protruding hand holds that are narrower in width and depth than the cleaning head base platform that supports e.g. bristles, abrasive pad, etc.    b. A cavity or access opening between the upward protruding hand holds that embodies a cylindrical shaped support shaft that can engage a quick disconnect mechanism without interference.    c. A support shaft embodied between the upward protruding handholds that is cylindrical in shape thus accommodate a quick disconnect mechanism that can rotate around the support shaft.    d. An access opening or cavity between the upward protruding hand holds that's allows for a quick disconnect mechanism to be inserted between the upward protruding hand holds to engage the support shaft.    
   
   
       2 . The cleaning apparatus in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein the cleaning base has an ergonomic hand hold that is open in the center of the handhold to allow for a quick disconnect type mechanism to be mounted onto the support bar.  
   
   
       3 . A cleaning device platform that has an open access cavity between two upward protruding platforms that allows a single hand to grab the protruding platforms. The purpose of the open access cavity is to allow clearance for the handles quick disconnect lever and allow full 180-degree movement. The open access cavity has a support bar in the center of the cavity allowing the quick disconnect attachment to be supported on.  
   
   
       4 . A one piece molded cleaning device platform that has an integral cylindrical support bar with a diameter of 0.25 inches and larger to hold a quick release mechanism that embodies a handle.
