Earthquake-proof bed

Abstract

An earthquake-proof bed that (1) has segmentalized components, (2) is easy to handle, and (3) is easily constituted by simple assembly, using connecting parts such as bolts. The bed includes (1) multiple lower frames that are dividable in the longitudinal direction of a bottom-plate of the earthquake-proof bed, (2) multiple side frames that have support beams and that are connected to a floor frame—which is assembled by connecting the lower frames together—at a desired height above the floor, (3) multiple upper frames that are connected to the top-side beams of the side frames arranged at the ceiling portion of a rectangle that is surrounded by the side frames, (4) multiple cambered roof units that are mounted upon and connected with the upper frames, and (5) multiple floor panels arranged on the floor frames.

1 . An earthquake-proof bed comprising 
 multiple lower frames dividable in the longitudinal direction of a bottom-plate of the earthquake-proof bed;    multiple side frames having support beams that are connected to a floor frame—which is assembled by connecting the lower frames together—at a desired height above the floor;    multiple upper frames that are connected to the top-side beams of the side frames, so as to be arranged at the ceiling portion of a rectangle that is surrounded by said side frames;    multiple cambered roof units mounted upon and connected to said upper frames; and    multiple floor panels that are mounted on said floor frame.    
   
   
       2 . An earthquake-proof bed described in  claim 1 , wherein a storage area for storing emergency goods and foods is constituted in a space under said floor frame.  
   
   
       3 . An earthquake-proof bed described in  claim 1 , wherein said side frames are provided with diagonal braces between the top-side beams and support pillars, and wherein the wall panels are mounted to at least the lower halves of the side faces except for an entrance/exit portion.  
   
   
       4 . An earthquake-proof bed described in  claim 1 , wherein retractable shoulder bars are provided to the bottom-side beams of some of said side frames.
