Circular sewing attachment of a sewing machine

Abstract

Structure of attachment for circular sewing of a sewing machine is able to be easily dismounted or mounted to the sewing machine, and allows for a diameter of circular sewing to be changed continuously.

1 . A mount section is detachably mounted through a operation of set screw to a sewing machine and a support section is prepared at the part extended in the direction of a needle plate side from this side of the front of the sewing machine along the front edge of a bed of the sewing machine which are prepared for an unit on a fixed frame; besides it is overlapped to the above mentioned support section, a scale section movably supported that enable the slide to the direction of right and left, the extended part from one end of the scale section is bent around the part of the needle plate and is overlapped to the surface of the bed of the sewing machine, moreover to have a extended top section that is located at the left side of the needle plate and a needle position that they are prepared for an unit; a movable frame provides the top section on which the pin that the tip turned upward, is fixed, and an adjustment screw that is inserted to the slot provided along a longitudinal direction of above mentioned scale section and fixes movable frame overlapped to said support section; 
 In such condition of mounting the attachment to the sewing machine, the sewing machine is driven after pricking the sewing material that should make sewing product, with the pin on the top section of above mentioned movable frame, by operating usual sewing, the attachment is to make possible forming the circular sewing that make said pin the center of circle and the length until the needle position as radius, in the sewing machine, to the sewing material    
   
   
       2 . A circular sewing attachment as set force in  claim 1 , characterized in that above mentioned set screw to be operated to shift the fixed position of a scale on above mentioned slot, changes the radius which is caused by the length from above mentioned pin until the needle position and to form the circular sewing over 2nd circumference at the outside or inside of the form of  1 st circumference circular sewing made to above mentioned sewing material:  
   
   
       3 . A circular sewing attachment as set force in  claim 1 , characterized in that in above mentioned sewing machine, overlock sewing machine is used, to form the circular sewing with the seam of wide width.
