Combination garment

Abstract

A combination garment with panty section and removable, replaceable and interchangeable leg portions and convenient attachment means and method for replacing individual leg portions of the combination garment.

1 . An item of hosiery comprising a panty section, at least one removable full leg length hose member, and attachment means.  
   
   
       2 . The hosiery item of  claim 1  wherein said attachment means comprises clip means comprising at least one double-ended clip with a clamping mechanism located at each end.  
   
   
       3 . The hosiery item of  claim 1  wherein said attachment means comprises reciprocal, interlocking components affixed at intervals around a circumference of at least one leg opening of said panty section and at corresponding intervals around a circumference of a top portion of said hose member.  
   
   
       4 . The hosiery item of  claim 3  wherein said attachment means is selected from the group consisting of snaps, buttons, hooks, clips and hook and loop fasteners.  
   
   
       5 . The hosiery item of  claim 1  wherein said attachment means comprises hook and loop fasteners.  
   
   
       6 . The hosiery item of  claim 4  wherein said attachment means comprises snaps.  
   
   
       7 . The hosiery item of  claim 5  wherein said attachment means is removably affixed to at least one garment members of said pantyhose combination garment.  
   
   
       8 . The hosiery item of  claim 1  where at least one garment member of said combination garment is provided with means to conceal contours of said attachment means, said means comprising at least one slat providing a covering layer external to said attachment means.  
   
   
       9 . A method of supporting a hose portion of a combination pantyhose garment comprising removably attaching said hose portion via fastening means to a panty section of said combination pantyhose garment.  
   
   
       10 . A method of replacing a damaged hose portion of a combination pantyhose garment comprising removing said damaged portion from a panty section of said combination pantyhose garment by unfastening an attachment means and removably attaching a replacement hose portion to said panty section by fastening said attachment means.  
   
   
       11 . A combination undergarment comprising a panty section, at least one removable full-length leg member, and attachment means.  
   
   
       12 . The combination undergarment of  claim 1   1  adapted to be worn for warmth.  
   
   
       13 . The combination undergarment of  claim 12  wherein said panty section and said at least one leg member are adapted to be worn by male or female humans.  
   
   
       14 . The combination undergarment of  claim 13  adapted to fit children.
