Abstract

A method of deep soil seismic compaction of corresponding number of cycles in which low-energy vibrations within a range from several to several dozens of hertz are applied to a stiff plate in contact with a subsoil, onto which the static force of a preload produced by a heavy weight M1 is simultaneously applied, the vibration being produced by a dynamic load caused by a periodic force Fw operating at a vibration frequency, amplitude and emission time in a vertical direction with a force greater tan 1 g.

       2 . A method of a deep soil compacting from a surface by seismic dynamic compacting with use of sequences of seismic-vibrations of high power and variable parameters of vibrations depending on susceptibility of the soil to settlement, and on work safety, said method comprising the steps of superimposing a number of cycles of lower-energy, controlled sequences of vibrations of seismic frequencies within a range from several to several dozen hertz, imparted to a stiff plate in contact with the soil, with a static force of a preload produced by a heavy weight M1 applied to the plate, said vibrations being produced by applying a dynamic load produced by a periodic force Fw of defined parameters of vibration frequencies, amplitude and duration, having a maximum value lower than the static load M1 which maintains a permanent contact of the plate with the subsoil, said force Fw being directed always downward, greater than 1 g, wherein g is the force of gravity, said force Fw providing cumulating of deformations under the plate and achieving cumulative compacting and consolidation from successive cycles of vibrations at a given point of vibration, irrespective of a technical system to implement the method from one point to another.  
   
   
       3 . The method of  claim 2  comprising providing the force Fw with a vibration frequency of between 5 and 100 Hz, providing said force Fw at between 1 and 3 tons and said static weight at lease 20 tons.  
   
   
       4 . The method of  claim 3  comprising producing said dynamic load by an electro-hydraulic system.  
   
   
       5 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein said static load M1 is applied to said plate over a period of time prior to as well as concurrently with said force Fw.
