Abstract
A mounting pad for a compressor of an air conditioning system is configured as a tank with abase member, front and rear sidewalls, left and right end walls, and a top panel. The tank has a water inlet, a water outlet and a drain. The top panel has at least one horizontal area on which the compressor unit sits and an access panel. A pump inside the tank is accessible through the access panel. Condensate enter the tank through the water inlet. The water outlet is threaded to receive a common garden hose. The pump is activated to pump water out of the tank through the water outlet.

12 . A pad for a plurality of air conditioning compressors, comprising:
a base member; a front sidewall attached to said base member; a rear sidewall spaced from said front sidewall and attached to said base member; a left end wall attached to said base member and to said front and rear sidewalls; a right end wall spaced from said left end wall and attached to said base member and to said front and rear sidewalls; a lid spaced from said base member and attached to said front and rear sidewalls, left end wall and right end wall forming a tank, said tank having a water inlet and a water outlet, said lid having a plurality of areas of horizontal surface each for receiving a compressor of said plurality of compressors; and means for pumping water from said tank through said water outlet.
13 . A pad, as set forth in claim 12 , including at least one leg attached to said base member and supporting said tank.
14 . A pad, as set forth in claim 12 , wherein said base member has a bottom surface of serpentine configuration.
15 . A pad, as set forth in claim 12 , wherein said base member has a bottom surface defining a series of lands and grooves.
16 . A pad, as set forth in claim 12 , wherein said tank includes an access panel.
17 . A pad, as set forth in claim 16 , wherein said access panel is attached to said top panel.
18 . A pad, as set forth in claim 16 , wherein said access panel is attached to one of said left and right end panels.
19 . A pad, as set forth in claim 12 , wherein said water outlet is threaded to accept a garden hose.
