Abstract

Magnetically levitated rocking sleep system is intended to solve the problem of sleep disorders and some medical complications. The rocking motion effectively puts infants and older people to sleep. However market does not offer rocking beds for adults who suffer from sleep disorders. The invention discloses an idea of using electromagnetic devices in order to rock a bed and provide a wide variety of motion patterns, amplitudes, and speeds for satisfying the individual preferences.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . Magnetically levitated rocking sleep system comprising of a base, a body, an arrangement of electromagnetic devices, and a control system;
 electromagnets, linear motors, and magnetic bearings are among the said electromagnetic devices; the electromagnetic devices or their parts are mounted on the base and on the body the way that the electromagnetic devices create, with the help of the control system, an electromagnetic field strong enough to provide an air gap between the parts of the system mounted, directly or indirectly, on the base and the parts of the system mounted, directly or indirectly, on the body; by changing the electromagnetic field at the said sleep system, the control system and the electromagnetic devices provide variety of rocking motions of the body.
