Display pack for tool assemblies

Abstract

A display pack includes a plate for supporting and retaining a greater tool member, such as wrenches, screw drivers, or plier devices. The plate includes a number of cavities formed in such as blocks to receive a number of smaller tool elements, such as screw driver bits, sockets. A retaining device may be used to retain the smaller tool elements in the cavities of the plate, and includes one or more bars for limiting the movement of the tool elements relative to the plate, and for retaining the tool elements in the cavities of the plate. The bars include a number of apertures to partially receive the tool elements.

1 . A display pack comprising: 
 a plate for supporting and retaining a tool member thereon, and including a plurality of cavities formed therein,    a plurality of tool elements received in said cavities of said plate, and    means for retaining said tool elements in said cavities of said plate.    
   
   
       2 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said retaining means includes at least one bar for limiting a movement of said tool elements relative to said plate, and for retaining said tool elements in said cavities of said plate.  
   
   
       3 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein said at least one bar includes a plurality of apertures formed therein, to partially receive said tool elements, and to retain said tool elements in said cavities of said plate.  
   
   
       4 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein said retaining means further includes a second bar for limiting a movement of said tool elements relative to said plate, and for retaining said tool elements in said cavities of said plate.  
   
   
       5 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein said retaining means further includes at least one link coupled between said second bar and said at least one bar.  
   
   
       6 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 5 , wherein said plate includes at least one depression formed therein, to receive said at least one link of said retaining means.  
   
   
       7 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein said second bar includes a plurality of apertures formed therein, to partially receive said tool elements, and to retain said tool elements in said cavities of said plate.  
   
   
       8 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 1  further comprising a retaining device attached to said plate, for locking the tool member to said plate.  
   
   
       9 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 8 , wherein said retaining device includes a clip for engaging with the tool member, and two catches extended from said clip, and engaged with said plate, to secure said clip of said retaining device to said plate.  
   
   
       10 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 9 , wherein each of said catches of said retaining device includes an enlarged head provided thereon to engage with said plate, and to secure said clip of said retaining device to said plate.  
   
   
       11 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 8 , wherein said plate includes an opening formed therein for receiving the tool member.  
   
   
       12 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said plate includes at least one pair of retaining fingers extended therefrom, for engaging with and for retaining the tool member to said plate.  
   
   
       13 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said plate includes at least one seat extended therefrom, for engaging with and for retaining the tool member to said plate.  
   
   
       14 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 13 , wherein said at least one seat of said plate includes a curved recess formed therein, for receiving the tool member.  
   
   
       15 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said plate includes a plurality of blocks extended therefrom, and having said cavities formed therein, for receiving said tool elements in said cavities of said blocks.  
   
   
       16 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said blocks are formed together as one-integral piece.  
   
   
       17 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said blocks are extended downwardly beyond said plate.  
   
   
       18 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said blocks are extended upwardly beyond said plate.  
   
   
       19 . The display pack as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said plate includes a bulge extended therefrom, for engaging with and for retaining the tool member to said plate.
