Golf bag
Abstract
An improved golf bag that upon frontal opening promotes the pivoted gravitational falling and forward, limited angular displacement of a plurality of tiered racks adapted to receive and maintain stationary placement of a plurality of golf clubs therein, thereby providing convenient and organized frontal presentation and accessibility to a variety of golf clubs, and wherein the golf bag is adapted to be seated and secured to the rear of a golf cart without external harnesses or straps, thus permitting the bag to extend beyond the rear of golf cart and provide free frontal access to the contents thereof.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A golf bag, comprising:
a strap assembly comprising a first end and a second end, wherein said first end is permanently affixed to said golf bag, and wherein said second end is removably securable to said golf bag, thereby enabling said strap assembly to engage a selected structure for removably securing said golf bag thereto.
2 . The golf bag of claim 1 , wherein said strap assembly comprises a buckle coupled to said-second end of said strap assembly.
3 . The golf bag of claim 2 , wherein said golf bag further comprises a keeper, said keeper adapted to be removably engaged to said buckle of said strap assembly.
4 . The golf bag of claim 1 , wherein said strap assembly comprises a male connector coupled to said second end of said strap assembly.
5 . The golf bag of claim 4 , wherein said golf bag further comprises a female connector, said female connector adapted to be removably engaged to said male connector of said strap assembly.
6 . The golf bag of claim 1 , wherein said second end of said strap assembly is removably secured to said golf bag via hook-and-loop fasteners.
7 . The golf bag of claim 1 , wherein said second end of said strap assembly is removably secured to said golf bag via a removably securable fastener.
8 . The golf bag of claim 1 , wherein said golf bag comprises a keeper, said keeper adapted to be removably engaged to said buckle of said strap assembly to provide a handle for transport of said golf bag.
9 . A golf bag, comprising:
a means for removably securing said golf bag to a vehicle, thereby facilitating frontal access to said golf bag and transport of same.
10 . The golf bag of claim 9 , wherein said removably securing means is a strap assembly comprising a first end and a second end, wherein said first end is permanently affixed to said golf bag, and wherein said second end is removably securable to said golf bag, thereby enabling said strap assembly to engage the vehicle for removably securing said golf bag thereto.
11 . The golf bag of claim 9 , wherein said means comprises a member adapted to engage a portion of the vehicle.
12 . A golf bag, comprising:
a pivotal rack adapted to gravitationally fall to a limited angular displacement, said rack further adapted to removably retain at least one golf club; and, a strap assembly for removably securing said golf bag to a selected structure.
13 . The golf bag of claim 12 , further comprising at least one retaining clip disposed on said rack, said at least one retaining clip adapted to securely and removably engage a portion of the at least on golf club.
14 . The golf bag of claim 12 , further comprising a base tray disposed on said rack, said base tray comprising at least one slot for securely and removably receiving a portion of the at least on golf club.
15 . The golf bag of claim 12 , wherein said strap assembly comprises a first end and a second end, wherein said first end is permanently affixed to said golf bag, and wherein said second end is removably securable to said golf bag, thereby enabling said strap assembly to engage the selected structure for removably securing said golf bag thereto.
16 . The golf bag of claim 15 , wherein said strap assembly comprises a male connector coupled to said second end of said strap assembly.
17 . The golf bag of claim 16 , wherein said golf bag further comprises a female connector, said female connector adapted to be removably engaged to said male connector of said strap assembly.
18 . The golf bag of claim 12 , wherein the selected structure is a golf cart.
19 . The golf bag of claim 18 , further comprising a notch formed on an underside of said golf bag, said notch adapted to engage a portion of the golf cart to assist said strap assembly in supporting said golf bag on the golf cart.
20 . The golf bag of claim 12 , wherein said pivotal rack is detachable from said golf bag.
21 . The golf bag of claim 12 , further comprising a detachable rack.
22 . The golf bag of claim 21 , wherein said detachable rack comprises a stake or spike utilized to stake and secure said detachable rack into an earthen surface, thereby maintaining said detachable rack, and the at least one golf club carried thereby, in an upright position, and off of the earthen surface.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
