Decorative disposal trash receptacle covers

Abstract

A novel trash and/or recycle receptacle covering and decoration comprising: a decorated tube comprising a flexible film which is impervious to water and odors, and designed to fit over and cover a trash and/or recycle receptacle; and having at a first end, a first elastomeric loop for affixing the first end of the tube over the opening of the trash and/or recycle receptacle and which defines an orifice for trash, said first elastomeric loop further creating an annular ledge which tends to keep trash within the receptacle; and a second elastomeric loop attached to the second end of the tube for securing the tube to the bottom of the trash and/or recycle receptacle.

1 . A novel trash and/or recycle receptacle covering and decoration comprising: 
 a tube designed to fit over and cover a trash and/or recycle receptacle; and    having at one end, a first resilient elastomeric loop affixed to the tube, and which secures over the opening of the trash and/or recycle receptacle and which defines an orifice for trash.    
   
   
       2 . The novel trash and/or recycle receptacle covering and decoration of  claim 1  further comprising a second resilient elastomeric loop affixed to a second end of the tube, and which secures to the bottom of the trash and/or recycle receptacle  
   
   
       3 . The novel trash and/or recycle receptacle cover and decoration of  claim 1  wherein said tube is constructed from a polymeric material which is impervious to water and odors.  
   
   
       4 . The novel trash and/or recycle receptacle cover and decoration of claim wherein said tube is constructed from a paper material.  
   
   
       5 . The novel and/or recycle receptacle cover and decoration of  claim 1  wherein said tube comprises a water-proof material.  
   
   
       6 . The novel trash and/or recycle receptacle cover and decoration of  claim 1 , wherein said trash and/or recycle receptacle cover and decoration is decorated with advertising.  
   
   
       7 . A novel trash and/or recycle receptacle covering and decoration comprising: 
 a tube designed to fit over and cover a trash and/or recycle receptacle; and    having at a first end, a first affixing means for affixing the first end of the tube to the opening of the trash and recycle receptacle and which defines an orifice for trash, said affixing means further creating an annular ledge which tends to keep trash within the receptacle; and    a second affixing means attached to the second end of the tube for securing the tube to the bottom of the trash and/or recycle receptacle.    
   
   
       8 . The novel trash and/or recycle receptacle covering and decoration of  claim 7  wherein said first and second means comprise a tie string.  
   
   
       9 . The novel trash and/or recycle receptacle covering and decoration of  claim 7  wherein said first and second means comprise an elastomeric loop.  
   
   
       10 . The novel trash and/or recycle receptacle cover and decoration of  claim 7  wherein said tube is constructed from a polymeric material which is impervious to water and odors.  
   
   
       11 . The novel trash and/or recycle receptacle cover and decoration of  claim 7  wherein said tube is constructed from a paper material.  
   
   
       12 . The novel trash and/or recycle receptacle cover and decoration of  claim 7  wherein said tube comprises a water-proof material.  
   
   
       13 . The novel trash and/or recycle receptacle cover and decoration of  claim 7 , wherein said trash and/or recycle receptacle cover and decoration that is decorated with advertising.  
   
   
       14 . A novel trash and/or recycle receptacle covering and decoration comprising: 
 a decorated tube designed to fit over and cover a trash and/or recycle receptacle;    having at a first end, a first elastomeric loop for affixing the first end of the tube over the opening of the trash or recycle receptacle and which defines an orifice for trash, said first elastomeric loop further creating an annular ledge which tends to keep trash within the receptacle; and    a second elastomeric loop attached to the second end of the tube for securing the tube to the bottom of the trash and/or recycle receptacle.
