Dual surface for sport event or game

Abstract

A hybrid tennis court with one type of surface applied to one side of the net from the net to the back fence and a different type of surface applied to the other side of the net from the net to the back fence. A hybrid court is useful as a teaching tool, for exhibitions, for injured players, and for adding a new dimension to the game of tennis. Also included in this invention is a golf course with two or more different types of surfaces used on different putting greens or a putting green with two ore more different types of surfaces on the same green or different types of surfaces on different fairways.

       6 . A golf course having putting greens and fairways, the improvement comprising at least one of the putting greens having a different type of surface than the other putting green(s) and/or at least one of the fairways having a different type of surface than the other fairways.  
   
   
       7 . The golf course of  claim 6 , wherein said types of surfaces are different types of grass surfaces.  
   
   
       8 . The golf course of  claim 6 , wherein said different types of surfaces are different lengths of cutting heights.  
   
   
       9 . The golf course of  claim 6 , wherein at least one of said putting greens has different types of surfaces on the same putting green.  
   
   
       10 . The golf course of  claim 9 , wherein said different types of surfaces on the same putting green comprise different types of grasses on the same putting green.  
   
   
       11 . The golf course of  claim 9 , wherein said different types of surfaces on the same putting green comprise different cutting heights of grasses on the same putting green.
