Abstract

A garment hanger includes a frame having two lateral side portions and an upper and intermediate neck portion formed by a peripheral beam. A hook or a snap ring is disposed on the frame for attaching the frame to supporting members. The peripheral beam of the frame includes a non-circular cross section, such as a T-shaped cross section, to reinforce the frame, and to increase a bending strength of the frame. One or more rods may further be disposed in the neck portion to further reinforce the frame. The snap ring includes a catch and a hook for locking the frame to the supporting members.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A garment hanger comprising:
a frame including two lateral side portions for engaging with shoulder portions of garments, and including an upper and intermediate neck portion having a narrower space formed therein, and said lateral side portions and said neck portion of said frame being defined by a peripheral beam, and means for attaching said frame to supporting members, wherein said peripheral beam of said frame includes a non-circular cross section, to reinforce said frame, and to increase a bending strength of said frame.

2 . The garment hanger as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said peripheral beam of said frame includes a T-shaped cross section having at least one horizontal bar and at least one vertical bar.

3 . The garment hanger as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said peripheral beam includes two segments to define said narrower space of said neck portion of said frame, and at least one rod coupled between said two segments of said peripheral beam, to further reinforce said frame.

4 . The garment hanger as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said frame includes at least one hook attached to said lateral side portions thereof for hanging objects thereon.

5 . The garment hanger as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said attaching means includes a snap ring provided on said peripheral beam of said frame, and having a space formed therein to receive the supporting members.

6 . The garment hanger as claimed in claim 5 , wherein said snap ring includes a catch provided on one end, and a hook on the other end for engaging with said catch, and for locking said frame to the supporting members, said hook is depressable and disengageable from said catch, for forming a passage between said hook and said catch, to allow the supporting members to be engaged into said space of said snap ring via said passage of said snap ring.

       7 . A garment hanger comprising:
a frame defined by a peripheral beam, for supporting garments, and a snap ring provided on said peripheral beam of said frame, and having a space formed therein to receive supporting members, said snap ring including a catch provided on one end, and a hook on the other end for engaging with said catch, and for locking said frame to the supporting members, said hook being depressable and disengageable from said catch, for forming a passage between said hook and said catch, to allow the supporting members to be engaged into said space of said snap ring via said passage of said snap ring.

8 . The garment hanger as claimed in claim 7 , wherein said frame includes two lateral side portions for engaging with shoulder portions of the garments, and includes an upper and intermediate neck portion having a narrower space formed therein, and said lateral side portions and said neck portion of said frame are defined by said peripheral beam, said peripheral beam of said frame includes a non-circular cross section, to reinforce said frame, and to increase a bending strength of said frame.

9 . The garment hanger as claimed in claim 8 , wherein said peripheral beam of said frame includes a T-shaped cross section having at least one horizontal bar and at least one vertical bar.

10 . The garment hanger as claimed in claim 8 , wherein said peripheral beam includes two segments to define said narrower space of said neck portion of said frame, and at least one rod coupled between said two segments of said peripheral beam, to further reinforce said frame.

11 . The garment hanger as claimed in claim 9 , wherein said frame includes at least one hook attached to said lateral side portions thereof for hanging objects thereon.
