Abstract
A scooter includes a footrest plate, a motor-mounting seat pivoted to a rear end of the footrest plate, a rear wheel, and a power driving unit mounted on the motor-mounting seat for driving the rear wheel through a transmission unit. A shock-absorbing unit is pivoted to the footrest plate adjacent to the rear end of the footrest plate and to the motor-mounting seat for absorbing shock resulting from operation of the power driving unit.

a footrest plate having a rear end; a motor-mounting seat pivoted to said rear end of said footrest plate; a rear wheel; a transmission unit; a power driving unit mounted on said motor- mounting seat for driving said rear wheel through said transmission unit; and a shock-absorbing unit pivoted to said footrest plate adjacent to said rear end of said footrest plate and pivoted to said motor-mounting seat for absorbing shock resulting from operation of said power driving unit.

The scooter as defined in claim 1 , wherein said motor-mounting seat includes an upper plate upon which said power driving unit is seated, and two side plates that extend transversely and respectively from two opposite sides of said upper plate and that respectively have free ends formed with two aligned first pivot holes, said scooter further comprising a pivot shaft extending through said first pivot holes in said side plates of said motor-mounting seat and said rear end of said footrest plate, and a pin, said shock-absorbing unit being pivoted to said side plates of said motor-mounting seat through said pin.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
