Abstract

A resealable packaging bag should be produced in the simplest way and at minimal cost. It consists of flexible material and has an opening ( 5 ) at the top. Non-detachably fixed on one side of the bag is a backing ( 6 ), and detachably fixed to the backing ( 6 ) is a section ( 10 ) of a flexible material provided with a self-adhesive layer. A portion of the backing ( 6 ) and a portion of the section ( 10 ) project beyond the opening edge ( 14 ) of the bag. To close the bag, a portion ( 8 ) of the backing ( 6 ) is peeled off, and the now exposed portion of the section ( 10 ) is placed over the opening ( 5 ) and is stuck onto the opposite side ( 2 ). Used for opening and resealing is the detachably adhering portion of the section ( 10 ) which is on the portion ( 9 ) of the backing ( 6 ) remaining on the bag. The advantages are in particular that the bag can be produced from any desired material including paper and that the backing with the self-adhesive section can be a commercially obtainable self-adhesive label.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A resealable packaging bag made of a flexible material having an opening ( 5 ) at the top, wherein non-detachably fixed to one side ( 1 ) of the bag is a backing ( 6 ), detachably fixed to the backing ( 6 ) is a section ( 10 ) made of a flexible material provided with a self-adhesive layer, and a portion ( 8 ) of the backing ( 6 ) and a portion of the section ( 10 ) project beyond the opening edge ( 14 ) of the bag.

2 . The resealable bag according to claim 1 , wherein the backing ( 6 ) has a separating line ( 7 ) which is designed as a weakened line or divides the backing into two parts ( 8 , 9 ) and which extends at least approximately parallel to the opening edge.

3 . The resealable bag according to claim 1 or 2 , characterized by a recess ( 11 ) in the backing ( 6 ) and/or in the section ( 10 ), which recess extends from the edge of the backing ( 6 ) and the vertex of which lies in the region of the separating line ( 7 ).

4 . The resealable bag according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the flexible material of the packaging bag has at least one layer of paper which is located on the outside of the packaging bag.

5 . The resealable bag according to one of the claims 1 to 3 , wherein the flexible material of the packaging bag is paper.

6 . The resealable bag according to one of the preceding claims, wherein it has a side gusset.

7 . The resealable bag according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the opening edge ( 14 ) is designed as sealing edge ( 12 ).
