. The foldable luggage bag of claim 1 in the form of an open top tote bag wherein said second partial bag includes a bottom panel, a generally cylindrical side panel having a bottom edge attached to the bottom panel and a top edge spaced upwardly from the bottom edge, said top edge defining a top opening to the bag, at least one handle attached at the top edge, said first partial bag attached to the second bag on the side panel intermediate the bottom edge and the top edge, said second fastener mechanism attached to the outside of the side panel.

. The bag of claim 2 wherein the first partial bag includes an outside surface with a display panel.

. The bag of claim 2 wherein two separate handles are attached to the top edge.

. The bag of claim 1 wherein the fastener mechanisms comprise a zipper.

. The luggage bag of claim 1 in the form of a backpack, said second partial bag comprising an enclosed bag with a bottom panel, a front panel including the first partial bag, a back panel spaced from the front panel, a connecting top and side panel joined to the bottom panel and the side panels, a closure mechanism in the side panel which may be opened for access to the interior of the first and second bags, and at least one back strap attached to the side panel.

. The bag of claim 6 further including first and second spaced back straps attached to the side panel.

. The bag of claim 6 or claim 7 wherein the straps are adjustable in length.

. The bag of claim 6 including an access mechanism in the first partial bags.

. The bag of claim 9 wherein the access mechanism comprises a zipper.

. The bag of claim 6 wherein the first partial bag comprises a front display panel and a circumferential side panel attached around a first edge to the front panel.
