Article of luggage

Abstract

Embodiments of the present invention are directed toward an article of luggage including a handle and a body having an exterior portion and at least one internal compartment for storing one or more items. The body is made substantially of natural or synthetic leather. The exterior may include a first portion substantially corresponding to all or a portion of a first sleeve of a sports jersey of a sports team, the first portion being positioned on a first side of the bag and a second portion substantially corresponding to all or a portion of a second sleeve of the sports jersey and positioned on a second side of the bag opposite to the first side. The article may also include at least one of a sports logo, a team logo, a team name, a player name and a player number and a material covering having at least one of a color, pattern and design corresponding to the sports jersey. The article may further include a collar portion corresponding to a collar of the sports jersey, where the collar portion positioned on a top portion of the exterior of the bag.

1 . An article of luggage comprising: 
 a handle; and    a body having an exterior portion and at least one internal compartment for storing one or more items, wherein the exterior comprises: 
 a first portion substantially corresponding to all or a portion of a first sleeve of a sports jersey positioned on a first side of the bag; and  
 a second portion substantially corresponding to all or a portion of a second sleeve of the sports jersey and positioned on a second side of the bag opposite to the first side.  
   
   
   
       2 . The article of luggage according to  claim 1 , wherein the sports jersey corresponds to a sports team.  
   
   
       3 . The article of luggage according to  claim 1 , wherein the exterior further includes at least one of a sports logo, a team logo, a team name, a player name, a player number, a slogan, an advertisement, and a phrase.  
   
   
       4 . The article of luggage according to  claim 1 , wherein the exterior includes a material covering having at least one of a color, pattern and design corresponding to a sports jersey of a sports team.  
   
   
       5 . The article of luggage according to  claim 1 , wherein the body is made substantially of natural or synthetic leather.  
   
   
       6 . The article of luggage according to  claim 1 , wherein the exterior further comprises a collar portion corresponding to a collar of the sports jersey, the collar portion positioned on a top portion of the exterior of the bag.  
   
   
       7 . The article of luggage according to  claim 1 , wherein the article is selected from the group consisting of: a handbag, a tote-bag, a suitcase, a briefcase and a purse.  
   
   
       8 . The article of luggage according to  claim 1 , wherein the interior includes a material covering having at least one of a color, pattern and design corresponding to a sports jersey of a sports team  
   
   
       9 . An article of luggage comprising a body having an exterior portion and at least one internal compartment for storing one or more items, wherein the exterior includes a material covering having at least one of a color, pattern and design corresponding to a sports jersey of a sports team.  
   
   
       10 . The article of luggage according to  claim 9 , wherein the exterior further includes a first portion substantially corresponding to all or a portion of a first sleeve of the sports jersey positioned on a first side of the bag and a second portion substantially corresponding to all or a portion of a second sleeve of the sports jersey and positioned on a second side of the bag opposite to the first side.  
   
   
       11 . The article of luggage according to  claim 9 , wherein the exterior further includes at least one of a sports logo, a team logo, a team name, a player name, a player number, a slogan, an advertisement, and a phrase.  
   
   
       12 . The article of luggage according to  claim 9 , wherein the body is made substantially of natural or synthetic leather.  
   
   
       13 . The article of luggage according to  claim 9 , wherein the exterior further comprises a collar portion corresponding to a collar of the sports jersey, the collar portion positioned on a top portion of the exterior of the bag.  
   
   
       14 . The article of luggage according to  claim 9 , wherein the article is selected from the group consisting of: a handbag, a tote-bag, a suitcase, a briefcase and a purse.  
   
   
       15 . An article of luggage comprising a body having an exterior portion and at least one internal compartment for storing one or more items, wherein the exterior comprises a collar portion corresponding to all or a portion of a collar of a sports jersey, the collar portion positioned on a top portion of the exterior of the bag.  
   
   
       16 . The article of luggage according to  claim 15 , further comprising a handle.  
   
   
       17 . An article of luggage comprising: 
 a handle; and    a body having an exterior portion and at least one internal compartment for storing one or more items, wherein the body is made substantially of natural or synthetic leather, and wherein the exterior comprises: 
 a first portion substantially corresponding to all or a portion of a first sleeve of a sports jersey of a sports team, the first portion being positioned on a first side of the bag;  
 a second portion substantially corresponding to all or a portion of a second sleeve of the sports jersey and positioned on a second side of the bag opposite to the first side;  
 at least one of a sports logo, a team logo, a team name, a player name and a player number;  
 a material covering having at least one of a color, pattern and design corresponding to the sports jersey; and  
 a collar portion corresponding to a collar of the sports jersey, the collar portion positioned on a top portion of the exterior of the bag.
