Side hook for shower curtain

Abstract

A side hook for a shower curtain is mainly made up of a fixing clip having a base with a double-sided adhesive tape applied thereon disposed at one side thereof, and an arc flexible plate disposed at the other side thereof wherein a clamping passage is defined at the bottom ends of the base and the arc flexible plate there-between, and fixing teeth are correspondingly protruded at the inner side of both the base and the arc flexible plate respectively in clamping abutment. In practical use, the lateral sides of a shower curtain are pushed through the clamping passage of the fixing clip to be clamped tight by the fixing teeth therein for secure location of the shower curtain in closing manner. Besides, the fixing clip can also have a flexible plate with an arc slope and a plane section extending at one side thereof. Fixing teeth are protruded at the inner side of the plane section thereof in clamping abutment with the base thereof for precise location of the shower curtain thereof.

       5 . A side hook for a shower curtain comprising: 
 a) a base;    b) a flexible plate having a first surface resiliently pressing against a first surface of the base;    c) a flat connector portion connecting a first end of the base and a first end of the flexible plate, the flat connector portion extending perpendicularly from the first surface of the base; and    d) a clamping passage located between a second end of the base and a second end of the flexible plate, 
 wherein an edge of the shower curtain is inserted into the clamping passage and removably secured between the base and the flexible plate.  
   
   
   
       6 . The side hook according to  claim 5 , wherein the flexible plate is a curved flexible plate.  
   
   
       7 . The side hook according to  claim 6 , further comprising a plurality of first teeth extending from a first surface of the curved flexible plate and resiliently engaging the first surface of the base.  
   
   
       8 . The side hook according to  claim 7 , further comprising a plurality of second teeth extending from the first surface of the base and meshing with the plurality of first teeth.  
   
   
       9 . The side hook according to  claim 6 , further comprising a double-sided adhesive tape located on a second surface of the base.  
   
   
       10 . The side hook according to  claim 5 , wherein the flexible plate includes an arched section and at least one flat section.  
   
   
       11 . The side hook according to  claim 10 , further comprising a plurality of teeth located on the at least one flat section and extending from the first surface of the flexible plate, the plurality of teeth resiliently engaging the first surface of the base, wherein the first surface of the base is flat.  
   
   
       12 . The side hook according to  claim 10 , further comprising a double-sided adhesive tape located on a second surface of the base.
