Device for supporting of a tensioning device in a wall-to-wall carpet

Abstract

A device for supporting a tensioning device in a wall-to-wall carpet for the purpose of balancing of sideways joining patterns of carpet tracks to a uniform pattern picture includes a planar plate ( 1 ), wherein the planar plate ( 1 ) is furnished on the bottom side with a plurality of parallel strips ( 3 ) and with the nails ( 4 ) disposed in a row in the parallel strips ( 3 ). A swivelable counter support ( 6,7 ) is arrestable at an arbitrary position of the plate 1 and provided for a connection rod ( 8 ) extending cross over the plate upper side toward a further shift plate ( 9 ) furnished at the bottom with nails and pressable away from the plate ( 1 ) held in the carpet floor by way of nails ( 4 ) by way of a toggle joint mechanism ( 13 ). A carpet track can therewith be stretched until a correct pattern picture is reached over the complete surface.

A device for supporting at tensioning device in a wall-to-wall carpet for adaptation of patterns present in side ways joining carpet tracks to form a uniform pattern picture, characterized in that a planar plate ( 1 ) furnished on the bottom side with a plurality of nails ( 4 ) disposed in rows and furnished on the top side with a swivelable counter support ( 6 , 7 ) disposed at a plate longitudinal edge and arrestable at an arbitrary position of the plate with locking means ( 5 ) along the edge of the plate ( 1 ) for a connection rod ( 8 ) extending cross over the upper side of the plate ( 1 ) to a further shift plate ( 9 ) furnished on the bottom side with nails and pressable away from the plate ( 1 ) held in the carpet floor by way of nails ( 4 ) by way of the toggle joint mechanism ( 13 ).

The device according to  claim 1  characterized in that the nails ( 4 ) are disposed in strips ( 3 ), wherein the strips ( 3 ) are disposed away from an oppositely disposed longitudinal side of the plate ( 1 ) at an angle of about 80 degrees relative to the oppositely disposed longitudinal side of the plate ( 1 ) and wherein the strips ( 3 ) extend parallel to each other at the bottom side of the plate ( 1 ).

The device according to  claim 1  characterized in that the locking means is a gear rack ( 5 ) extending along the plate edge of the plate ( 1 ), wherein the gear rack ( 5 ) cooperates with a toothed head piece ( 6 ) of the shiftable counter support ( 6 , 7 ) for engaging and disengaging, wherein the counter support ( 6 , 7 ) comprises a swivelably supported tube piece ( 7 ) supported at the head piece ( 6 ) for receiving the connection rod ( 8 ) directed to the further shift plate ( 9 ).  
   
   
       4 . Device according to  claim 1  characterized in that rollers ( 10 ) movable upwardly and downwardly are disposed at the four plate corners by way of a lever mechanics ( 12 ) for further motion of the plate ( 1 ) over the carpet floor.
