Abstract
A cargo pant thigh holster system, enclosed within the side (thigh) pocket of a specially designed pair of cargo pants, for carrying a concealed handgun includes a vertical support member that attaches to a velcro and double button assembly within the side pocket of the cargo pants to provide vertical support for a holster and handgun. A retainer strap, connected to the holster, wraps around the thigh through openings of the inner lining of the side pocket of the cargo pants to secure the holster against rotative movement. A reinforced seam system of said cargo pants that begins with a reinforced seam on the outside portion of each pant leg above the knee area, and extending up to the belt line of the pants, a belt line also of reinforced stitching that connects the vertical double button assembly in the front of the pants above the zipper. Said cargo pants are comprised of two front pockets, two rear pockets and two side (thigh) pockets either of which can conceal a handgun and holster system as described above.

A cargo pant thigh holster system, enclosed within the side (thigh) pocket of a specially designed pair of cargo pants, for removably securing a handgun to the thigh of a wearer comprising a holster having a first sidewall disposable adjacent a leg of a wearer and a second sidewall disposable away from a leg of a wearer and having an interior pocket there between for removably carrying a handgun therein, a support system for securing said holster adjacent a leg of a wearer, releasable cooperating fastener means attached to said holster and said support system for securing said holster to said support system, said support system including means for removably attaching to the thigh of a wearer, inside of the pant leg through openings in the inner lining of the pant leg within the side pocket, a velcro strip attaching the seam area of the lining of the pant leg within the side pocket to the inner sidewall of the holster, and a double button assembly above the velcro seam attachment that further connects the top area of the holster to the inner lining of the pant leg within the side pocket, all supporting the weight of a handgun and for inhibiting vertical and rotative movement of said holster attached thereto. The cargo pants are made up of two front pockets, two rear pockets and two side (thigh) pockets either of which can conceal a handgun and holster assembly as described above. The cargo pants shall be made with reinforced stitching along the outer seam of the pants starting above the knee area and extending up to and connecting with the belt line of the pants, a belt line that shall also be made with reinforced stitching that wraps around and connects to a vertical double button assembly in the front of the pants above the zipper.
2 . The system as defined in claim 1 wherein said retainer strap is adjustable in length, attaches to the holster itself and encircles the leg of the wearer.
3 . The system as defined in claim 1 wherein said releasable cooperating fastener means attached to said support system is located to adjacent inner sidewall and upper portion.

The system as defined in claim 1 wherein outer covering of side pocket can either be permanently sewed on to pant leg with a top flap that opens upward to access a handgun attached to the system within said pocket, or designed with break-away velcro edges and a corner nylon tab so that said covering can be removed in a hurried fashion to access a handgun attached to the system within said pocket. In either case, the outer covering of said side pocket shall be designed in a manner so as to loosely fit over the holster system area so as to further aid in concealment of same.
5 . The holster in said system shall be designed with an adjustable single button securing strap that fastens over the top (hammer) area of a handgun securing same in the holster, or it may be designed without a securing strap (i.e. break-free fashion).Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
