Dustless eraser for blackboards

Abstract

This invention is a new design in the structure of a Dustless Eraser for Blackboards. The main component includes a rectangular hollow eraser case with, screw holes, roller shaft holes, and spring holders on the two sides. An interior brusher, with the same dimensions as the eraser case, is mounted in the base of the eraser case and comes into contact with the eraser fabric. Two rollers are secured to the eraser case via the roller shafts, which are secured to the roller shaft holes. A hat shaped bracket is screwed to the eraser case via the two sides bolts hole and two rollers are arranged on the front and back of the bracket. The eraser belt fabric is sleeved onto the outside of the two rollers and the bracket. The eraser belt fabric is supported by the top surface of the bracket. Two springs are hooked to the roller shaft in the oblong shaft holes and then hooked to the end of eraser case via the spring holders. A pad made of soft material is mounted around the edge of the eraser case. The base brusher contacts the eraser belt to transport chalk powder from the eraser belt into the case during eraser use. Connecting a vacuum cleaner's hose or just dumping the chalk powder into a connecting container or plastic bag can remove the chalk powder in the case.

1 ) A rectangular hollow case with holes on the sides. A brusher fastened to the base of the eraser to wipe chalk powder rapidly from the surface of the eraser belt. Shafts inserted into the center holes of the rollers and roller shaft holes on the case to secure their position. The hat shaped bracket is tightly screwed into the case's side screw holes to support the eraser belt fabric.  
   
   
       2 ) An eraser belt fabric for wiping the blackboards is able to freely move in forward or reverse directions due to the two rollers and support bracket. The tension of the eraser belt remains tight from the connecting springs between the rollers and the eraser case.  
   
   
       3 ) One side of the case has upper and lower ball seats to hold a hose rotator, which can provide the flexibility of movement if connected to a vacuum cleaner.  
   
   
       4 ) The side bracket is to contain the eraser belt in the proper track position.  
   
   
       5 ) The pad installed around the edge of eraser case is to avoid scratching the blackboards with the eraser's metal case.  
   
   
       6 ) The eraser rotator can be connected to the hose of a small vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner would remove all chalk powder from inside and outside the erase case. Powder from chalk can create a health hazard to anyone near the blackboards. Using this Dustless Eraser can eliminate these conditions.
