Method and apparatus for creating document

Abstract

A method and apparatus for creating a document is provided. The lower limit position on the last page of a table graphic pattern which constitutes a document is designated. The position and shape of the table graphic pattern are set. Data is input into the table graphic pattern. A table graphic pattern component on the last page of the table graphic pattern is deformed such that the table graphic pattern component on the last page is not located at a position lower than the lower limit position when inputting data into the table graphic pattern component on the last page.

1 . A method for creating a document, comprising the steps of: 
 designating a lower limit position on a last page of a table graphic pattern which constitutes the document;    setting a position and shape of the table graphic pattern;    inputting data into the table graphic pattern; and    deforming a table graphic pattern component on the last page of the table graphic pattern such that the table graphic pattern component on the last page is not located below the lower limit position when inputting data into the table graphic pattern component on the last page.    
   
   
       2 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the table graphic pattern has a plurality of columns on a single page.  
   
   
       3 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the lower limit position is designated by using a slider for designating a lower limit position displayed on a document design screen.  
   
   
       4 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the lower limit position is designated by inputting a numerical value.  
   
   
       5 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising the step of: 
 setting a fixed graphic pattern different from the table graphic pattern component on the last page, wherein the fixed graphic pattern is set at a position lower than the lower limit position.    
   
   
       6 . A method for creating a document, comprising the steps of: 
 designating at least one of a left limit position and a right limit position on a last page of a table graphic pattern which constitutes a document;    setting a position and shape of the table graphic pattern;    inputting data into the table graphic pattern; and    deforming a table graphic pattern component on the last page of the table graphic pattern such that the table graphic pattern component on the last page is not located to at least one of the left and the right of the limit position when inputting data into the table graphic pattern component on the last page.    
   
   
       7 . A computer-executable program for creating a document, comprising the codes for: 
 designating a lower limit position on a last page of a table graphic pattern which constitutes a document;    setting a position and shape of the table graphic pattern;    inputting data into the table graphic pattern; and    deforming a table graphic pattern component on the last page of the table graphic pattern such that the table graphic pattern component on the last page is not located below the lower limit position when inputting data into the table graphic pattern component on the last page.    
   
   
       8 . A computer-readable storage medium storing a computer-executable program for creating a document, said program comprising the codes for: 
 designating a lower limit position on a last page of a table graphic pattern which constitutes a document;    setting a position and shape of the table graphic pattern;    inputting data into the table graphic pattern; and    deforming a table graphic pattern component on the last page of the table graphic pattern such that the table graphic pattern component on the last page is not located below the lower limit position when inputting data into the table graphic pattern component on the last page.    
   
   
       9 . An apparatus for creating a document, comprising: 
 means for designating a lower limit position on a last page of a table graphic pattern which constitutes a document;    means for setting a position and shape of the table graphic pattern;    means for inputting data into the table graphic pattern; and    means for deforming a table graphic pattern component on the last page of the table graphic pattern such that the table graphic pattern component on the last page is not located below the lower limit position when inputting data into the table graphic pattern component on the last page.
