Abstract

A toy barrier of the New Jersey traffic barrier style to provide children with a product for any number of applications. Analogous of existing highway traffic barrier with the exception of the size and the intended use. The toy may be filled with water, sand or any type of substance through a fill hole in the top of the barrier. The fill hole shall also act as the drain plug. Product uses would include, but would not be limited to, sand boxes, toy racetracks, playpen areas of containment, etc. Number of applications determined upon child's imagination.

1 . A toy barrier structure comprising: 
 a longitudinally extending container having a base, a pair of side walls, a pair of end walls, and a top portion, said container being substantially hollow and comprising a semi-rigid plastic material whereby said container is self-supporting and has a predetermined shape;    filling means for filling said substantially hollow container with a liquid, whereby said filling of said container with said liquid would substantially increase weight without changing predetermined shape;    each of said end walls shall have apertures adapted to provide fluid connectivity between said longitudinally extended container and a second longitudinally extended container placed in juxtaposition with said longitudinally extended container.    
   
   
       2 . The toy barrier structure in  claim 1  wherein said semi-rigid plastic is selected from any polymer plastic material.  
   
   
       3 . That which is described in claims  1 , and  2  is for use as a toy to provide entertainment to children, with such application only limited by the imaginative mind.
