Piece of furniture

Abstract

A piece of furniture comprising an undercarriage, chair seat, back support and other supporting surfaces wherein the furniture is characterized by a support member having an elongated, bench-like shape, and at least one seat member with back support rotatably mounted on said support member. Said support member is formed with a recessed section wherein said seat member is mounted. Said recessed section can possibly be located substantially at the midpoint of said support member.

1 . A piece of furniture comprising an undercarriage, a chair seat, a back support and other support surfaces, 
 characterized by,    a support member having an elongated bench-like form, and at least one seat member with back support, wherein said seat member is mounted to said support member such that said seat member is free to rotate.    
   
   
       2 . The piece of furniture according to  claim 1 , 
 characterized in that    said support member is formed with a recessed section wherein said seat member is mounted, possibly having the recessed section located substantially at the midpoint of said support member.    
   
   
       3 . The piece of furniture according to  claim 2 , 
 characterized in that one part of said support member is slanted or two of parts of said support member are slated such that these slant down toward said recessed section.    
   
   
       4 . The piece of furniture according to  claim 2  or  3 , 
 characterised in that said seat member with its underneath side that is directed towards said recessed section of said support member has a shape that corresponds to the shape of said recessed section.    
   
   
       5 . The piece of furniture according to  claim 1 , 
 characterized in that the length of at least one part of said support member can be adjusted.    
   
   
       6 . The piece of furniture according to  claim 1 , 
 characterized in that the angle of at least one part of said support member can be adjusted.    
   
   
       7 . The piece of furniture according to  claim 1 , 
 characterized in that at least one accessory member is attached to said support member's short or long side, and wherein at least one of said accessory members is removable and/or adjustably attached to said support member.    
   
   
       8 . The piece of furniture according to  claim 1   characterized in that an accessory member in the shape of a plate preferably is attached to one of said support member's short sides and/or that an accessory member is the form of a pillow is attached to one of said support member's short sides, wherein said pillow is possibly raised in relation to said support member.    
   
   
       9 . The piece of furniture according to  claim 1   characterized in that said support member when viewed from above is symmetrically tapered in towards said recessed section and/or that said support member has a substantially horizontal orientation.    
   
   
       10 . The piece of furniture according to  claim 1   characterized in that said seat member's back support is adjustable.
