The present invention relates to the use of molecules capable of specifically binding a urokinase plasminogen activator receptor (uPAR) as diagnostic reagents for the detection of metastases in vivo. Such metastases can include, but are not limited to, micrometastases.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 17 . (Canceled)
. An antibody which immunospecifically binds an epitope, wherein said epitope is recognized by the anti-human uPAR monoclonal antibody 3936 and wherein said antibody is conjugated to a cytotoxic or cytostatic compound.
. The antibody of claim 18 , wherein said antibody is a human antibody.
. The antibody of claim 18 , wherein said antibody is a humanized antibody.
. The antibody of claim 18 , wherein said antibody is a single chain antibody, a Fab fragment, a F(ab′) 2 fragment, an anti-idiotypic antibody, or an epitope binding fragment.
. The antibody of claim 18 , 19 or 20 , wherein said antibody is a monoclonal antibody.
. The antibody of claim 18 , wherein said antibody is the monoclonal antibody 3936.
. The antibody of claim 18 or 23 , wherein the cytotoxic or cytostatic compound is saporin, A-chain ricin, A-chain cholera toxin, or an antibiotic.
. The antibody of claim 18 or 23 , wherein the cytotoxic or cytostatic compound is an antimetabolite.
. A pharmaceutical composition comprising the antibody of claim 18 , 19 , 20 , 21 or 23 , and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
. A pharmaceutical composition comprising the antibody of claim 25 or 26 , and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
. A humanized antibody which immunospecifically binds an epitope, wherein said epitope is recognized by the anti-human uPAR monoclonal antibody 3936.
. A pharmaceutical composition comprising the humanized antibody of claim 28 , and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
