What is claimed is:

         1 . A disposable cover for a chair, said cover comprising a substantially rectangular cut piece of paper comprising a first edge and a second edge opposite said first edge, said paper folded mid way across its longitudinal axis such that portions of said first edge overlap portions of said second edge.

         2 . A disposable cover for a chair according to claim 1 , wherein said disposable cover comprises a non-woven and tear-resistant paper.

         3 . A disposable cover for a chair according to claim 2 , wherein said non-woven and tear-resistant paper is biodegradable.

         4 . A disposable cover for a chair according to claim 1 , wherein said first edge portions are joined together and said second edge portions are joined together forming an open end for receiving at least a portion of a chair.

         5 . A disposable cover for a chair according to claim 4 , wherein the open end comprises two non-joined edges of said rectangular piece of paper, one of said two non-joined edges has a substantially concave shape and the other of said two non-joined edges has a substantially convex shape.

         6 . A disposable cover for a chair according to claim 5 , wherein a middle portion of the substantially convex shaped edge extends to a bottom of the front legs of a chair and a middle portion of the substantially concave edge extends to a bottom of the back legs of the chair.

         7 . A disposable cover for a chair according to claim 5 , wherein the convex shaped and concave shaped edges are between about 20 degrees and about 40 degrees of a circle.

         8 . A disposable cover for a chair according to claim 4 , wherein said disposable cover is configured to substantially cover a back, a seat, and legs of a chair with the open end positioned around the legs of the chair.

         9 . A disposable cover for a chair according to claim 4 , wherein said first edge portions are joined together and said second edge portions are joined together using at least one of an adhesive and stitching.

         10 . A disposable cover for a chair according to claim 1 , wherein said substantially rectangular cut piece of paper is about 1.0 to about 1.4 meters wide from said first edge to said second edge.

         11 . A disposable cover for a chair according to claim 1 , wherein said substantially rectangular cut piece of paper comprises about 40 GSM non-woven paper.

         12 . A disposable cover for a chair according to claim 1 , wherein said disposable cover comprises a fire resistant paper.

         13 . A disposable cover for a chair according to claim 1 , wherein said disposable cover comprises a color fast paper.

         14 . A disposable cover for a chair according to claim 1 , wherein said substantially rectangular cut piece of paper includes at least one of logos, drawings, and images applied thereon utilizing at least one of printing, image transfer, and painting.

         15 . A method for forming a disposable cover for a chair, said method comprising:
 cutting a substantially rectangular piece of paper sized to cover the chair; folding the paper approximately in half along its longitudinal axis; joining the sides of the paper which extend from the fold, forming an open end and a closed end opposite the open end; placing the open end of the disposable cover over a top of a chair; and sliding the disposable cover along the chair until the open end is positioned substantially around legs of the chair.

         16 . A method according to claim 15 further comprising:
 engaging the closed end with the top of the chair; and
 fitting the closed end or folding the closed end to fit the top of the chair.

         17 . A method according to claim 15 wherein joining the sides of the paper which extend from the fold comprises at least one of joining the sides with an adhesive and stitching the sides of the paper.

         18 . A method according to claim 15 further comprising:
 gathering any excess from the sides;
 arranging the excess in front of, behind of, or behind and to the side of the chair; and
 tying the arranged excess.

         19 . A method according to claim 15 further comprising:
 gathering any excess from the sides;
 arranging the excess in front of, behind of, or behind and to the side of the chair; and
 holding the excess in position utilizing a loop of fabric or paper stretched over a portion of the back of the chair and the chair cover.

         20 . A method according to claim 15 wherein cutting a substantially rectangular piece of paper comprises cutting across the paper from a first edge to a second edge of the paper following a path that is between about 20 and about 40 degrees of a circle.

         21 . A method according to claim 15 wherein cutting a substantially rectangular piece of paper comprises cutting across the paper from a first edge to a second edge of the paper following a path that is dependent on a depth of the chairs the disposable chair cover is to be fitted to.
