Abstract

A sealing structure for a spray gun reservoir comprises a can and a lid. The can has an opening at one end with a curved edge around the opening. A circular trough is formed within an inner wall close to the opening. The circular trough is formed by starting one end in a level with the extension line gradually deviating from the line to cause a different height of the two ends. The lid comprises a reduced portion with a circular rib surrounding an outer wall of the reduced portion, corresponding to the circular trough of the can. A gap is formed around an inner wall of the lid corresponding to the curved edge of the can so that the lid covers the can with the circular rib inserting into the circular trough for security purpose.

I claim:

1 . A sealing structure for a spray gun reservoir comprising a can and a lid,
said can comprising an opening with a circular trough close to said opening, said circular trough being formed by starting one end from an inner wall of said can and continuous to drawn a line across the inner wall till it reaching to the starting end, said line being drawn in a different height from original, thus causing two ends in a different height; said lid comprising a reduced portion with a circular rib formed around an outer wall thereof corresponding to said circular trough of said can; thus, by covering said lid on said can, said circular rib being guided into said circular trough and to secure said can.

2 . The sealing structure for a spray gun reservoir, as recited in claim 1 , wherein said opening of said can comprises a curved edge, and said lid comprises a gap corresponding to said curved edge of said can.

3 . The sealing structure for a spray gun reservoir, as recited in claim 1 , wherein two ends of said circular trough are shaped in rounded and dented.

4 . The sealing structure for a spray gun reservoir, as recited in claim 1 , wherein two ends of said circular rib are shaped in rounded.
