Claims

Abstract

An optical measuring apparatus for optically measuring a sample includes a plurality of parts for applying light beams to the sample, a plurality of detecting parts for detecting light beams from the light applying parts which come through the sample, a memory part which receives signals from the detecting parts, converts them into digital signals and stores the digital signals as measuring positions between the light applying part and the light detecting part. Further, there is provided a first display part which shows a relationship between positions on the sample and measuring positions corresponding to the positions of the detecting parts on the sample, and a second display part which shows a relationship between positions on the sample and measuring positions corresponding to the positions of the detecting parts which are shown on the first display part.

         8 . A biological photometric device comprising: 
 a light source for irradiating an organ with light;    a light detector for detecting the light emitted from said first light source and propagated through the organ; and    display means for displaying a first measurement result of a first measurement area in a first window and a second measurement result of a second measurement area in a second window;    wherein said first and second measurement results are displayed in synchronism.    
     
     
         9 . The biological photometric device according to  claim 8 , wherein said first measurement area is left cerebrum of an examinee and said second measurement area is right cerebrum of an examinee.  
     
     
         10 . The biological photometric device according to  claim 8 , wherein said first and second measurement results are displayed as a moving image.  
     
     
         11 . The biological photometric device according to  claim 8 , wherein said measurement result is a concentration of at least one of oxy and deoxy and total hemoglobin.  
     
     
         12 . The biological photometric device according to  claim 11 , wherein said display means has a button to select displaying a concentration of at least one of oxy and deoxy and total hemoglobin.  
     
     
         13 . The biological photometric device according to  claim 8 , wherein said first and second measurement results are displayed by using color variation and said display means has a box to display the relation of said color variation and said measurement results.  
     
     
         14 . The biological photometric device according to  claim 8 , wherein said display means shows buttons to select whether to show or hide the measure point.  
     
     
         15 . The biological photometric device according to  claim 8 , wherein said display means displays a detected brain part in letters.
