Abstract
A layout apparatus lays out a document by referencing personal information registered on a per user basis. Even if no particular print setting is input for a print job by a user, excellent prints customized for each user are thus provided.

1 . A layout apparatus comprising:
an input unit for inputting user information; and a layout unit for laying out a document based on the user information input by the input unit.
2 . A layout apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the user information comprises information relating to a vision level of a user, and wherein the layout unit determines a character font size based on the information relating to the vision level, and lays out the document.
3 . A layout apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the user information comprises information relating to a vision level of a user, and wherein the layout unit determines the spacing of characters based on the information relating to the vision level, and lays out the document.
4 . A layout apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the user information comprises information relating to the age of a user, and wherein the layout unit determines a character font size based on the information relating to the age of the user, and lays out the document.
5 . A layout apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the user information comprises information relating to the age of a user, and wherein the layout unit determines the spacing of characters based on the information relating to the age of the user, and lays out the document.
6 . A layout apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the user information comprises information relating to the age of a user, and wherein the layout unit lays out one of a photograph and a drawing with priority placed thereon based on the information relating to the age of the user.
7 . A layout apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a unit for outputting the document laid out by the layout unit.
8 . A layout method comprising the steps of:
inputting user information; and laying out a document based on the user information input in the input step.
9 . A layout method according to claim 8 , wherein the user information comprises information relating to a vision level of a user, and wherein the layout step comprises determining a character font size based on the information relating to the vision level, and laying out the document.
10 . A layout method according to claim 8 , wherein the user information comprises information relating to a vision level of a user, and wherein the layout step comprises determining the spacing of characters based on the information relating to the vision level, and laying out the document.
11 . A layout method according to claim 8 , wherein the user information comprises information relating to the age of a user, and wherein the layout step comprises determining a character font size based on the information relating to the age of the user, and laying out the document.
12 . A layout method according to claim 8 , wherein the user information comprises information relating to the age of a user, and wherein the layout step comprises determining the spacing of characters based on the information relating to the age of the user, and laying out the document.
13 . A layout method according to claim 8 , wherein the user information comprises information relating to the age of a user, and wherein the layout step comprises laying out one of a photograph and a drawing with priority placed thereon based on the information relating to the age of the user.
14 . A layout method according to claim 8 , further comprising a step for outputting the document laid out in the layout step.
15 . A computer readable program product comprising program codes for performing the steps of:
inputting user information; and laying out a document based on the user information input in the input step.

A computer readable program product according to claim 15 , wherein the user information comprises information relating to a vision level of a user, and wherein the layout step comprises determining a character font size based on the information relating to the vision level, and laying out the document.

A computer readable program product according to claim 15 , wherein the user information comprises information relating to a vision level of a user, and wherein the layout step comprises determining the spacing of characters based on the information relating to the vision level, and laying out the document.

A computer readable program product according to claim 15 , wherein the user information comprises information relating to the age of a user, and wherein the layout step comprises determining a character font size based on the information relating to the age of the user, and laying out the document.
