Abstract
The invention relates generally to a cap for use in an event, and more particularly to, a cap that is usually used in various events such as athletic sports, a picnic, etc. A cap according to the present invention has a sunshade 10′ formed at the cap's body 10 made of an inner layer of low foam synthetic resins and an outer layer of Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) or PolyUrethane (PU), and a display element and a plurality of concave-convex or undulating elements formed at a constant interval with respect to each other on a circumference surface of a penetration element 2 formed at the center of the cap's body. Thus, if the cap is put on a head, the concave-convex elements formed at the penetration element are latched on the head, the cap can be prevented from taking off by a severe wind and marks or characters representing the even can be displayed to promote an event atmosphere.

1 . A cap for use in an event, comprising:
a body including a penetration element at a central location of the body; a sunshade located on at least one side of an outer circumferential surface the body of the cap; and at least one display element and a plurality of undulating elements that are evenly spaced with respect to each other, located at a circumferential surface of a penetration element formed at a central location of the body, wherein the cap is made of a material having a resin foam inner layer closest to a wearer's person when worn and an outer skin made of at least one of Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) or PolyUrethane (PU).
2 . A cap in accordance with claim 1 , wherein a plurality of display elements are formed at opposite sides of the circumferential surface of the penetration element.
3 . A cap in accordance with claim 1 , wherein colored indicia are located on an outer surface of said outer skin.
4 . A cap in accordance with claim 1 , wherein indicia are printed in three to five colors on a surface of said outer skin.
5 . A cap in accordance with claim 1 , wherein colored indicia are formed by selective removal of said outer skin.
6 . A cap in accordance with claim 1 , wherein said at least one display element has a base portion approximately the width of said undulating elements to increase a holding power of the undulating elements by permitting a larger number thereof.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
