Abstract
A composition for use on personal hygiene articles containing: (a) a primary wax or oil component selected from the group consisting of a C 14-30 dialkyl carbonate, a C 14-30 dialkylene carbonate, and mixtures thereof; and (b) up to about 10% by weight of water, and wherein the composition has a melting point above about 25° C.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 15 . (cancelled).
16 : A composition comprising:
(a) a primary wax or oil component selected from the group consisting of a C 14-30 dialkyl carbonate, a C 14-30 dialkylene carbonate, and mixtures thereof; and (b) up to about 10% by weight of water, and wherein the composition has a melting point above about 25° C.
17 : The composition of claim 16 further comprising a secondary wax or oil component selected from the group consisting of a dialkyl(ene) ether, a dicarboxylic acid, a hydroxy fatty alcohol, and mixtures thereof.
18 : The composition of claim 16 further comprising a wax-like lipid component other than the primary and secondary wax or oil component.
19 : An article used for personal hygiene comprising a paper substrate coated with a composition containing:
(a) a primary wax or oil component selected from the group consisting of a C 14-30 dialkyl carbonate, a C 14-30 dialkylene carbonate, and mixtures thereof; and (b) up to about 10% by weight of water, and wherein the composition has a melting point above about 25° C.
20 : The article of claim 19 wherein the composition further comprises a secondary wax or oil component selected from the group consisting of a dialkyl(ene) ether, a dicarboxylic acid, a hydroxy fatty alcohol, and mixtures thereof.
21 : The article of claim 19 wherein the composition further comprises a wax-like lipid component other than the primary and secondary wax or oil component.
22 : The article of claim 19 wherein the composition further comprises an oil component other than the primary and secondary wax or oil component.
23 : The article of claim 19 wherein the composition further comprises an emulsifier.
24 : The article of claim 19 wherein the composition further comprises an active ingredient.
25 : The article of claim 19 wherein the primary wax or oil component is present in the composition in an amount of from about 1 to 50% by weight, the water is present in an amount of up to about 5% by weight, and wherein the composition further contains:
(i) from about 0.1 to 5% by weight of an active ingredient;
(ii) from about 1 to about 10% by weight of an oil component other than the primary wax or oil component;
(iii) from about 0.1 to 10% by weight of an emulsifier; and
(iv) from about 5 to 90% by weight of a wax component other than the primary wax or oil component, all weights being based on the total weight of the composition.
26 : The article of claim 19 wherein the composition further comprises an oil-soluble dye.
27 : The article of claim 19 wherein the composition further comprises a moisturizer.
28 : A process for treating human skin involving contacting the skin with an article used for personal hygien, said article comprising a paper substrate coated with a composition containing:
(a) a primary wax or oil component selected from the group consisting of a C 14-30 dialkyl carbonate, a C 14-30 dialkylene carbonate, and mixtures thereof; and (b) up to about 10% by weight of water, and wherein the composition has a melting point above about 25° C.
29 : The process of claim 28 wherein the composition further comprises a secondary wax or oil component selected from the group consisting of a dialkyl(ene) ether, a dicarboxylic acid, a hydroxy fatty alcohol, and mixtures thereof.
30 : The process of claim 28 wherein the composition further comprises a wax-like lipid component other than the primary and secondary wax or oil component.
31 : The process of claim 28 wherein the composition further comprises an oil component other than the primary and secondary wax or oil component.
32 : The process of claim 28 wherein the composition further comprises an emulsifier.
33 : The process of claim 28 wherein the composition further comprises an active ingredient.
34 : The process of claim 28 wherein the primary wax or oil component is present in the composition in an amount of from about 1 to 50% by weight, the water is present in an amount of up to about 5% by weight, and wherein the composition further contains:
(i) from about 0.1 to 5% by weight of an active ingredient;
(ii) from about 1 to about 10% by weight of an oil component other than the primary wax or oil component;
(iii) from about 0.1 to 10% by weight of an emulsifier; and
(iv) from about 5 to 90% by weight of a wax component other than the primary wax or oil component, all weights being based on the total weight of the composition.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
