Abstract
Independent and individual requests are aggregated and presented as a single request to a resource management system. The response from the resource management system is subsequently resolved back to the individual requests. The requesters generate multiple independent requests. The server receives such requests and sorts them into classes of requests, which are capable of being aggregated and processed as a single request by a resource management system. Parameters are pulled from the individual requests and used in the aggregated request.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A server comprising:
a communication layer coupled to a network having multiple requestors generating individual and independent requests for a resource management system; and a resource access layer coupled to the communication layer that aggregates the requests based on class of request and communicates such aggregated requests to the resource management system.
2 . The server of claim 1 , wherein the resource access layer receives, from the resource management system, responses to communicated requests including aggregated request results.
3 . The server of claim 2 , wherein the resource access layer matches responses back to the requests.
4 . The server of claim 1 , wherein the sorting includes sorting requests for aggregation based on parameters of the individual and independent requests.
5 . The server of claim 1 , wherein the resource access layer aggregates requests for a predetermined period of time prior to forming an aggregated request.
6 . The server of claim 5 , wherein the predetermined period of time is modified to improve the speed with which results are received from the resource management system.
7 . The server of claim 1 , wherein the resource access layer aggregates requests until a certain number of requests have been collected.
8 . The server of claim 17 , wherein the number of requests is modified to improve the speed with which results are received from the resource management system.
9 . The server of claim 1 , wherein the requests are queries.
10 . The server of claim 1 , wherein the requesters are web browsers.
11 . The server of claim 1 , wherein the requestors are credit card authorization devices.
12 . The server of claim 1 , where in class of requests include an action class, a data source class, and a data type class.
13 . The server of claim 1 , wherein some of the individual and independent requests require results that are the same as results required by other independent requests
14 . A method of handling multiple requests for a resource management system, the method comprising:
receiving results from a single request aggregated from multiple independent requests for the resource management system from multiple individual requesters, wherein some of the independent requests require results that are different than results required by other independent requests; matching the results to the independent and individual requests; and sending corresponding results to the individual requesters.
15 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising:
formatting the corresponding results in a format displayable in a web browser.
16 . The method of claim 14 , wherein sending corresponding results to the individual requesters includes sending a response from an action performed by the resource management system.
17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the response from an action performed by the resource management system includes a response from an update to the resource management system.
18 . A method comprising:
collecting independent requests from multiple individual requestors, wherein at least one of the independent requests is different from the other independent requests; forming a single aggregated request from the collected request; and matching aggregated request results to the multiple individual requesters.
19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein collecting independent requests occurs for a predetermined period of time.
20 . The method of claim 18 , wherein collecting independent requests occurs until a certain amount of requests are collected.
21 . The method of claim 18 , wherein forming a single aggregated request includes sorting requests for aggregation based on parameters of the independent requests.
22 . A method of handing requests for a resource management system comprising:
aggregating independent and individual requests, wherein at least one of the independent requests is different from the other independent requests; presenting the aggregated requests as a single request to the resource management system; and resolving requests results from the resource management system back to the individual requests.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
