Abstract

The present invention discloses a method wherein a preliminary bonus feature is added to a primary casino game. The preliminary bonus feature is based on the outcome of a random event or multiple random events that takes place before the outcome of the primary casino game is determined. A wide variety of random events could be utilized, such as: the value, color or suit of a random card, the roll of dice, the spin of a wheel or slot reel, the flip of a coin, electronically displaying a random number on display means, a randomized display of symbols, etc. The outcome of the preliminary bonus feature is determined prior to determining the outcome of the primary game, and the outcome of the primary game cannot be adversely affected when the preliminary bonus feature has been triggered.
