Abstract

A mannequin form having a first section and a second section is provided. The first and second sections are made of a selected material that is resistant to damage from a stress selected from the group consisting of heating, cutting, dying, and any combinations thereof. The second section is releasably secured to the first section to define a predetermined three-dimensional shape. The first section abuts the second section to define a first smooth mating line.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A mannequin form comprising:
a first section of a selected material, said selected material being resistant to damage from a stress selected from the group consisting of heating, cutting, dying, and any combinations thereof; and a second section of said selected material, said second section being releasably secured to said first section to define a predetermined three-dimensional shape, wherein said first section abuts said second section to define a first smooth mating line.

2 . The mannequin form of claim 1 , wherein said first section comprises a cavity for receiving a portion of another first section during storage.

3 . The mannequin form of claim 1 , further comprising a third section integrally formed with said first section.

4 . The mannequin form of claim 1 , further comprising a third section releasably secured to said first section, wherein said first section abuts said third section to define a second smooth mating line.

5 . The mannequin form of claim 4 , further comprising at least one fourth section secured between said first and second sections.

6 . The mannequin form of claim 5 , wherein at least one of said first through fourth sections comprise a cavity for receiving a portion of another of said first through fourth sections during storage.

7 . The mannequin form of claim 1 , further comprising at least one fourth section secured between said first and second sections.

8 . The mannequin form of claim 1 , wherein said selected material comprises metal.

9 . The mannequin form of claim 1 , wherein said metal is selected from the group consisting of a polymeric material, steel, aluminum, alloys of steel, alloys of aluminum, and any combinations thereof.

10 . The mannequin form of claim 1 , said predetermined three-dimensional shape is a shape selected from the group consisting of an upper torso, a leg, a lower torso, a head, an arm, a hand, a foot, and any combinations thereof.

11 . The mannequin form of claim 1 , wherein said first and second sections has thermal properties sufficient to resist and/or mitigate formation of condensation when steam is applied.

         12 . A mannequin form comprising:
a first metallic section; a second metallic section; and a fourth metallic section, wherein said first, second, and fourth metallic sections are magnetically securable to one another to define a smooth outer shape.

13 . The mannequin form of claim 12 , wherein said smooth outer shape is a shape selected from the group consisting of an upper torso, a leg, a lower torso, a head, an arm, a hand, a foot, and any combinations thereof.

14 . The mannequin form of claim 12 , wherein said first metallic section comprises a cavity for receiving a portion of another first metallic section during storage.

15 . The mannequin form of claim 12 , further comprising at least one metallic third section integrally formed with said first section.

16 . The mannequin form of claim 12 , further comprising at least one third metallic section magnetically secured to said first section.

17 . The mannequin form of claim 16 , wherein said at least one third metallic section comprises a breast region or a gluteus region.

18 . The mannequin form of claim 16 , wherein at least one of said first through fourth metallic sections comprise a cavity for receiving a portion of another of said first through fourth metallic sections during storage.

19 . The mannequin form of claim 12 , wherein said first, second, and third sections have thermal properties sufficient to resist and/or mitigate formation of condensation when steam is applied.
