Acquaciser

Abstract

The Acquaciser resembles a small rucksack or back pack, or perhaps an old-fashioned school satchel, with padded shoulder straps which fasten to the user's size and comfort with Velcro. It is made of highly buoyant material, and incidentally is brightly coloured. On each shoulder strap there is a grab-handle which allows the user to increase the effort required to perform exercises.

1 . By gripping the acquaciser grab handles situated on the shoulder straps, the user eliminates lift or propulsion provided by the hands and arms, limiting these to leg action only, and so increases the intensity of the work-out. 
 The most buoyant part is above the small of the back, about halfway down. This buoyancy balance allows the user to “stand” upright in the water without touching the bottom.
