Abstract
A cutting device for plastic horseshoes comprises a base plate that bears a shaft, which carries a cutting wheel. The cutting wheel is adjacent to a workpiece support and can be activated by a handle.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A cutting device ( 10 ) for plastic horseshoes comprising a base plate ( 12 ) that bears a shaft ( 30 ) which carries a cutting wheel ( 18 ) adjacent to a workpiece support ( 16 ) and which is activatable by a handle ( 20 ).
. Cutting device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the base plate ( 12 ) supports a bearing block for the shaft ( 30 ).
. Cutting device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the base plate ( 12 ) comprises an angle ( 14 ) which bears or forms the support of the shaft ( 30 ).
. Cutting device as defined in claim 3 , wherein the angle ( 14 ) projects upwardly from the base plate ( 12 ), in particular angled at 90° with respect to the top of the plate.
. Cutting device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the shaft ( 30 ) is guided in a sleeve ( 32 ).
. Cutting device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the cutting wheel ( 18 ) is mounted to the shaft ( 30 ) in a replaceable manner.
. Cutting device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the cutting wheel ( 18 ) is a knife, a circular saw blade or the like.
. Cutting device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the cutting wheel ( 18 ) is ground on one side, in particular with an acute conical grinding ( 19 ).
. Cutting device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the cutting wheel ( 18 ) comprises a toothing, specifically with an asymmetric toothing profile.
. Cutting device as defined in claim 1 , wherein a protective plate ( 28 ) is located in the area above the cutting wheel ( 18 ) or is suited to be shifted into this area and to be locked there.
. Cutting device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the rotation sense of the shaft ( 30 ) is reversible.
. Cutting device as defined in claims 1 , wherein the handle ( 20 ) comprises a lever ( 22 ) adapted to be extended.
. Cutting device as defined in claims 1 , wherein the handle ( 20 ) is a crank, a hand ratchet or the like and is attachable to a profiled shaft end ( 34 ).
. Cutting device as defined in claims 1 , wherein the workpiece support ( 16 ) is mounted to the base plate ( 12 ) in an adjustable and/or replaceable manner.
. Cutting device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the workpiece support ( 16 ) defines a cutting gap extending towards the cutting wheel ( 18 ).
. Cutting device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the workpiece support ( 16 ) is adapted to the shape of a hoof or adaptable.
. Cutting device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the workpiece support ( 16 ) comprises fixing means for the workpiece, for example a clamping device.
. Cutting device as defined in claim 17 , wherein the workpiece support ( 16 ) comprises a roughened, ribbed and/or with an adhesive layer coated surface.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
