Abstract
A gem formation comprising a plurality of gems ( 1 ), wherein the gems ( 1 ) are partially embedded in a silicone layer ( 2 ).

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A gem formation with a plurality of gems with a rear side converging in a point and a flat front side, the gems being embedded in a silicone layer, wherein the gems ( 1 ) are only partially embedded in the silicone layer ( 2 ) and project with their front side beyond the silicone layer ( 2 ).
2 . A gem formation according to claim 1 wherein the gems ( 1 ) are embedded in the silicone layer ( 2 ) beyond the region of their largest diameter.
3 . A gem formation according to claim 1 wherein the gems ( 1 ) are made of ground glass.
4 . A gem formation according to claim 1 wherein a cloth layer ( 3 ) is additionally embedded in the silicone layer ( 2 ).
5 . A gem formation according to claim 4 wherein the cloth layer ( 3 ) is in the form of plastic cloth.
6 . A process for the production of a gem formation according to claim 1 wherein firstly the gems are arranged on an adhesive transfer foil and are dipped into a shallow silicone bath by means of said transfer foil, the transfer foil being pulled off after hardening of the silicone.
