Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus for the transmission of movements and forces from deflection lever connected with a drive means onto at least one linearly movable element, particularly of a dobby weaving machine, whereby the deflection lever is supported rotatably about an axis, whereby the deflection lever comprises a first and a second lever arm arranged at an angle relative to one another, and whereby the force introduction of the drive means occurs on one of the lever arms. The pivoting movement of a deflection lever shall be converted into a linear movement with low frictional losses and wear. This is achieved according to the invention in that at least one of the lever arms ( 2; 3 ) is connected with a linearly movable element ( 18 or 19; 20 ) by means of a first and a second flexible band ( 11, 12; 13, 14 ), and whereby the two bands are arranged and secured in such a manner so that for each force introduction for the carrying out of a linear forward movement or for the carrying out of a linear return movement of the elements ( 18, 19, 20 ), respectively only one of the bands ( 12, 14 or 11, 13 ) is subjected to or loaded with a tension force.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . Apparatus for the transmission of movements and forces from deflection lever connected with a drive means onto at least one linearly movable element, particularly in dobby weaving machines, whereby the deflection lever is supported rotatably about an axis, whereby furthermore the deflection lever comprises a first and a second lever arm arranged at an angle relative to one another, and whereby the force introduction of the drive means occurs on one of the lever arms, characterized in that at least one of the lever arms ( 2 ; 3 ) is connected with the linearly movable element ( 18 , 19 or 18 , 20 ) by means of a first and a second flexible band ( 11 , 12 ; 13 , 14 ), whereby the two bands ( 11 , 12 ; 13 , 14 ) are arranged and secured in such a manner so that to each force introduction for the carrying out of a forward movement or for the carrying out of a return movement of the elements ( 18 , 19 , 20 ), respectively only one of the bands ( 12 , 14 or 11 , 13 ) is subjected to a tension force.

2 . Apparatus according to claim 1 , characterized in that the lever arm ( 2 ) is connected with the linearly movable element ( 19 , 20 ) and the lever arm ( 3 ) is connected with the linearly movable element ( 18 ), whereby the connection of the first lever arm ( 2 ) occurs by means of the first and second flexible bands ( 11 , 12 ) and the connection of the second lever arm ( 3 ) with the element ( 18 ) occurs by means of the first and second flexible bands ( 13 , 14 ).

         3 . Apparatus according to claim 1 , characterized in that the lever arms ( 2 , 3 ) comprise an end piece ( 7 , 8 ) with an essentially circular arc shaped embodied roll-off surface ( 9 , 10 ), on which roll-off surface the bands ( 11 , 12 ; 13 , 14 ) roll-off.

         4 . Apparatus according to claim 1 , characterized in that an end of the first band ( 11 ; 13 ) is secured on a suitable location of the end piece ( 7 ; 8 ) and an end of the second band ( 12 ; 14 ) is secured on a different suitable location of the end piece ( 7 ; 8 ), whereby the other end of the bands ( 11 , 12 , 13 , 14 ) is connected with the allocated element ( 18 ; 19 , 20 ).

         5 . Apparatus according to claim 4 , characterized in that the band ( 12 ) crossingly penetrates through the band ( 11 ), and the band ( 14 ) crossingly penetrates through the band ( 13 ).

         6 . Apparatus according to claim 5 , characterized in that the first band ( 11 ; 13 ) is wider than the second band ( 12 ; 14 ).

7 . Apparatus according to claim 4 , characterized in that the first band ( 11 ; 13 ) comprises a slot ( 17 ) that extends over a major portion of the first band's length, of which slot the width is larger than the width of the second band ( 12 ; 14 ).

         8 . Apparatus according to claim 1 , characterized in that the bands ( 11 , 12 ; 13 , 14 ) are arranged next to one another.

         9 . Apparatus according to claim 8 , characterized in that the bands ( 11 , 12 ; 13 , 14 ) are embodied equally wide.

         10 . Apparatus according to claim 1 , characterized in that the bands ( 11 , 12 ; 13 , 14 ) consist of steel, synthetic plastic, or of textile material.

11 . Apparatus according to claim 10 , characterized in that the bands consist of its combination of these materials.
