Abstract
A hydraulic axial piston pump driven by an electric motor, comprising an outer casing that is formed monolithically with elements for fixing the casing to the stator assembly of the electric motor; the electric motor being thus coupled directly to the outer casing.

1 . A hydraulic axial piston pump and an electric motor having a stator assembly and an output shaft for driving the pump, the pump comprising: an outer casing; fixing elements formed monolithically with said casing for fixing the casing to the stator assembly of the electric motor, so that the electric motor is coupled directly to said casing.
2 . The hydraulic pump of claim 1 , wherein said casing is made of plastics.

The hydraulic pump of claim 1 , wherein said fixing elements comprise: first complementarily threaded bores, which are formed along a front peripheral region of said casing; corresponding second complementarily threaded holes formed in said stator assembly and arranged coaxially with said first threaded holes; and corresponding threaded elements for connecting to each other said motor and said casing, said threaded elements being arranged through said first bores and said second complementarily threaded holes.
4 . The hydraulic pump according to claim 3 , wherein said first complementarily threaded bores are substantially parallel to a rotation axis of said electric motor.
5 . The hydraulic pump of claim 4 , comprising an oscillating swash plate with a disk shaped body that has a toothed circumferential portion, the output shaft of said electric motor being keyed directly to said casing, a head of said shaft being provided with a pinion that meshes with the toothed circumferential portion of the disk shaped body of the oscillating swash plate of the pump.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
