Snowmobile suspension assembly
Abstract
A snowmobile exhaust system is provided. One aspect of the invention includes a snowmobile comprising an engine that has at least one exhaust pipe configured to carry warm exhaust gases from the engine. At least one seat is coupled to the snowmobile, and the exhaust pipe is arranged so that the seat is thermal communication with at least a portion of the exhaust pipe. Another aspect of the invention includes a snowmobile having a front section and a back section, with an engine located in the front section and an exhaust pipe is coupled to the engine. The snowmobile is configured so that the operator is positioned behind the engine, with the exhaust pipe terminating behind the operator.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A snowmobile, comprising:
an engine; at least one exhaust pipe configured to carry warm exhaust gases from the engine; and at least one seat coupled to the snowmobile, the seat being in thermal communication with at least a portion of the exhaust pipe.
2 . The snowmobile of claim 1 , wherein the engine is selected from the group consisting of four-stroke engines and two-stroke engines.
3 . The snowmobile of claim 1 , wherein the exhaust pipe is arranged to provide heat to the seat.
4 . The snowmobile of claim 1 , wherein the number of exhaust pipes can range from one to six.
5 . The snowmobile of claim 1 , wherein the exhaust pipe is split into at least two exhaust pipes.
6 . The snowmobile of claim 1 , wherein the exhaust pipe is split into a number of pipes, the number ranging from two to six.
7 . The snowmobile of claim 1 , wherein the engine has more than one exhaust pipe, with each exhaust pipe split into a number of pipes, the number ranging from two to six.
8 . A snowmobile comprising:
an engine; at least one exhaust pipe coupled to the engine; and at least one seat coupled to the snowmobile, the seat including an upper surface structured to receive an operator, and a lower surface; wherein at least a portion of the exhaust pipe is located adjacent to a portion of the lower surface of the seat.
9 . The snowmobile of claim 8 , wherein the engine is selected from the group consisting of four-stroke engines and two-stroke engines.
10 . The snowmobile of claim 8 , wherein the exhaust pipe is arranged to provide heat to the seat.
11 . The snowmobile of claim 8 , wherein the number of exhaust pipes can range from one to six.
12 . The snowmobile of claim 8 , wherein the exhaust pipe is split into at least two exhaust pipes.
13 . The snowmobile of claim 8 , wherein the exhaust pipe is split into a number of pipes, the number ranging from two to six.
14 . The snowmobile of claim 8 , wherein the engine has more than one exhaust pipe, with each exhaust pipe split into a number of pipes, the number ranging from two to six.
15 . A snowmobile having a front section and a back section, the snowmobile configured to receive an operator, the snowmobile comprising:
an engine located in the front section, with the operator located behind the engine; and at least one exhaust pipe coupled to the engine, the exhaust pipe terminating behind the operator.
16 . The snowmobile of claim 15 , wherein the engine is selected from the group consisting of four-stroke engines and two-stroke engines.
17 . The snowmobile of claim 15 , wherein the exhaust pipe is arranged to provide heat to the seat.
18 . The snowmobile of claim 15 , wherein the number of exhaust pipes can range from one to six.
19 . The snowmobile of claim 15 , wherein the exhaust pipe is split into at least two exhaust pipes.
20 . The snowmobile of claim 15 , wherein the exhaust pipe is split into a number of pipes, the number ranging from two to six.
21 . The snowmobile of claim 15 , wherein die engine has more than one exhaust pipe, with each exhaust pipe split into a number of pipes, the number ranging from two to six.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
