Photography shooting tent

Abstract

A photography tent is constructed of panels of light weight, color corrected translucent nylon fabric, supported by a flexible frame. The frame allows the tent to be collapsed to a substantially flat condition. The translucent material allows an external light source to be used.

1 . A photography tent comprising: 
 a series of fabric panels arranged to form an enclosure, said fabric being a light weight, color corrected, translucent nylon material;    a series of flexible frames sewed into said fabric panels in a manner to allow the frames to cooperate to selectively support the tent in an expanded condition or collapse the tent into a flat condition;    an opening constructed in at least one of said panels to provide access to the expanded enclosure for a photographic device;    wherein said enclosure, in its expanded condition provides an internal stage for the placement of subjects for photographing, said subjects being illuminated by externally available light.    
     
     
         2 . A photography tent, as described in  claim 1 , further comprising a removable floor panel constructed of rigid plastic material which is placed within the enclosure to support the subject.  
     
     
         3 . A photography tent, as described in  claim 1 , further comprising a fabric sweep panel constructed of non-transluscent material having a light absorbing color, said sweep being placed within the enclosure on the stage to provide a contrast to the subject.  
     
     
         4 . A photography tent, as described in  claim 1 , further comprising a door constructed of a light weight, color corrected, translucent nylon fabric and attached to one side of said opening, said door being of sufficient size and shape to fully cover said opening, said door being releasably attachable to at least three sides of said opening.  
     
     
         5 . A photography tent, as described in  claim 4 , wherein said door is constructed having a slot closeable by a zipper.  
     
     
         6 . A photography tent, as described in  claim 4 , wherein said door is completely removable and attached by detachable fasteners.  
     
     
         7 . A photography tent, as described in  claim 1 , wherein a frame is provided for two side panels and a top and bottom panel of said tent.  
     
     
         8 . A photography tent, as described in  claim 7 , wherein each of said frames is constructed of a loop of flexible steel band stock selected for its ability to bend without twisting.  
     
     
         9 . A photography tent, as described in  claim 6 , wherein said frames are sewn into said two side panels and said top and bottom panels with sufficient fabric separating said frames to allow said tent to be expanded and collapsed.  
     
     
         10 . A photography tent, as described in  claim 1 , further comprising at least one access port constructed in a panel of said enclosure to allow access to said stage.  
     
     
         11 . A photography tent, as described in  claim 1 , wherein said tent is comprised of a front panel, a back panel, two opposing side panels, a top panel and a bottom panel and wherein said frames are secured in said top, bottom, and side panels.  
     
     
         12 . A photography tent, as described in  claim 1 , further comprising a second opening constructed in said bottom panel for use in photographing fixed subjects or for use when said tent is oriented such that said bottom panel becomes said front panel.
