Abstract
A grill unit and a cooking apparatus with the grill unit, which allows heat to be easily transferred to food from a heating unit, and prevents generation of noise due to overheating of the grill pipes. The grill unit includes a plurality of grill pipes; and water tanks respectively connected to ends of the grill pipes to supply water into the grill pipes, wherein a height of a cross-section of each of the grill pipes is greater than a width thereof.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A grill unit, comprising:
a plurality of grill pipes; and water tanks respectively connected to ends of the grill pipes to supply water into the grill pipes, wherein a height of a cross-section of each of the grill pipes is greater than a width thereof.
2 . The grill unit according to claim 1 , wherein the height of the cross-section of each of the grill pipes is about 1.2 to about 2.0 times the width thereof.
3 . The grill unit according to claim 2 , wherein a distance between neighboring grill pipes is about 3.0 to about 6.0 times the width of the cross-section of each of the grill pipes.
4 . The grill unit according to claim 3 , wherein the width of the cross-section of each of the grill pipes is about 4 mm and the distance between neighboring grill pipes is about 12 mm to about 24 mm.
5 . The grill unit according to claim 1 , wherein the cross-section of each of the grill pipes has an oval shape with a height of the oval being greater than a width thereof.
6 . The grill unit according to claim 2 , wherein the height of the cross-section of each of the grill pipes is about 5 mm to about 8 mm and the width of the cross-section of each of the grill pipes is about 4 mm.
7 . A cooking apparatus, comprising:
a cabinet having at least one heater; and a grill unit mounted on a top surface of the cabinet to support food, the grill unit comprising
a plurality of grill pipes, and
water tanks respectively connected to ends of the grill pipes to supply water into the grill pipes,
wherein a height of a cross-section of each of the grill pipes is greater than a width thereof to circulate the water in the grill pipes.
8 . The cooking apparatus according to claim 7 , wherein the height of the cross-section of each of the grill pipes is about 1.2 to about 2.0 times the width thereof.
9 . The cooking apparatus according to claim 8 , wherein a distance between neighboring grill pipes is about 3.0 to about 6.0 times the width of the cross-section of each of the grill pipes.
10 . The cooking apparatus according to claim 7 , wherein each end of each grill pipe comprises:
a laterally extended part; and an upwardly extended part that is upwardly bent and extended from the laterally extended part and open at a top thereof to interface with an inside of a corresponding one of the water tanks to reinforce the rigidity of portions of each grill pipe connected to the corresponding water tank.
11 . The cooking apparatus according to claim 10 , wherein each grill pipe comprises:
inclined parts at respective ends of each grill pipe, each inclined part being downwardly bent at a predetermined angle and extended from respective laterally extended parts; and a horizontally extended part on which food is placed, sides of which extending from respective inclined parts, the horizontally extended part being positioned lower than the respective water tanks to place the food near the at least one heater.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
