Abstract

This invention is an air direction unit that accepts and holds various types of media in frames that can be wetted with water while passing air through the media for the purpose of introducing water vapor into the air stream. This unit can force the entire air stream through the media and is equipped with control dampers that allow bypass of the media to allow direct control of water vapor capacity. This unit is scalable to encompass a range of air stream capacities.

What I claim as my invention is as a free standing unit that is an assembly of components to be connected to other air handling units that accepts various types of media to be held it in a position that allows water to be directed downward through the media while directing an air stream to be drawn through the three independent media segments by the unit being served in a horizontal direction and is equipped with dampers that allow bypassing of the air around the media for control.  
     
     
         2 . What I claim as my invention is as a free standing unit that is an assembly of components to be connected to other air handling units that accepts various types of media to be held it in a position that allows water to be directed downward through the media while directing an air stream to be drawn through the media by the unit being served in a horizontal direction at the air inlets to the unit and is equipped with dampers that allow bypassing of the air around the media through the top for control.

What I claim as my invention is as a free standing unit that is an assembly of components to be connected to an air duct and that accepts various types of media to be held it in a position that allows water to be directed downward through the media while directing an air stream to be drawn through the media by the air duct being served in a horizontal direction and is equipped with dampers that allow bypassing of the air around the media for control.
