Abstract

The 2 Stroke Painting System fits over the rim of a one gallon paint can after removal of the cover. The one gallon paint can being cylindrical in shape causes a painter to wipe the paint brush on four sides of the brush. Due to the shape of the can, paint builds up in the middle of the brush making it difficult to clean. The 2 Stoke Painting System allows the painter to dip the brush in a one gallon paint can and wipe the brush's four sides in two strokes. This procedure cuts the time dipping and wiping the brush in half, thus extending the life of the brush by eliminating paint build up in center of the brush. When using a painting tray, the opening of the 2 Stroke Painting System is large enough to pour excess paint back into the can keeping the rim clean.
